The bathroom I cut my foot on one of the tiles by the toilet as it was loose and moved when stood on it. A lot of the grouting was missing on the bathroom floor which I was disappointed in.

Was quite a bit of party noise coming from outside due to closeness of the downtown area that went on late into the evening that could be heard.

Room was excellent from the cleanliness to the comfortability and location to downtown is great.

The radiator was behind heavy curtains . I reported the hairdryer wasn't working on the night of arrival. Reported it on morning of departure again because nothing was done about it .

Carpet on main stair was a bit thread bare. There was a cigarette burn on my bedroom carpet and carpet was a bit threadbare too.

Large spacious rooms. Pleasant staff. Rooms nice and clean.Straight forward check in and check out.

This was the first time we had stayed since the new wine bar across the road had opened. Our usual great night sleep was interrupted several times as they decided to noisily empty all their used bottles into the recycling at approximately 11pm, 12:30am and 2am. As this stay was on a Thursday I'd hate to experience it on a busy weekend night.

Staff were great as usual and bed was very comfortable. Room although starting to look a little old compared to newer hotels was still clean and relatively well equipped.

At level 4, there is a continual humming of the what seems like boiler noise. It was annoying and disrupted sleep.

The carpet in the room was old and appeared dirty and the room while having the space only had one bedside table and no plug sockets near the bed meaning our phones had to be plugged in and left on the floor on the other side of the room to charge. There were also some noise issues with other guests both late at night and first thing in the morning - although we accept this can't always be helped.

The location was great, perfect for what we needed while attending my partners graduation & the staff were very helpful when we left an item of clothing behind and contacted us to let us know almost before we'd finished unpacking.

The room was listed as deluxe, but the room is desperately in need of maintenance. Scratch surfaces, cracks on walls, marks on walls, light out on the bathroom display, black mould on silicon, slight drip from the radiator by bed.

I am not a big fan of lifts so had to hike up 4 sets of stairs....

This was a great find if a hotel.Its right in the middle of the city,but it's on a side street which means it not too noisy.The staff are warm and friendly.The room was spacious and had everything that you need.It even had a hook in the bathroom so you could hang wet clothes...Great addition.There was plenty of space for your toiletries as well.The food in the hotel was pretty good as well,with a good choice on offer.Will definitely stay here again

Lighting in room not nearly adequate. Would have liked tea and toast made for us.

Somebody, somewhere was having a party or at least playing music very loudly till around midnight. It started up again, albeit briefly around 1.30 am. Cooked breakfast, though very tasty, could have been hotter, as could have been the "hot plates" provided.

Nice room and bathroom, staff welcoming and friendly, great location as I was going to a concert just round the corner. Cooked breakfast was excellent but see below.
