All was great nothing to fault.

The guest house is clean, modern and well kept with a lounge eating area for breakfast facing the garden and hills beyond. The room was clean and comfy as was the bed. The complimentary breakfast included porridge, cereals, toast, ham, cheese, yoghurt, juice and teas plus coffee, so just enough to get you going in the morning.

The breakfast was mediocre and the lady who welcomed us wasn't as sweet as all other people we've met before. But given this is more of a non-contact self-check-in type of location, maybe we just caught her off-guard.

The place is less than 10 minute walk from Loch Ness and the little town, which is just lovely. The room and lounge area downstairs were great. We felt welcome to sit around in the lounge by the fireplace and just enjoy ourselves.

The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking. However this is simply my personal taste and not the fault of the guest house. I expect for many others it would be perfect.

The staff were extremely helpful. I arrived very early and they let me check in 2 hours early with no issues. Very clean and a nice selection of cereals for breakfast.

I really could not think of much I liked except I'm glad my reservation was for one night only. As far as view, It is on a loch and if you get a room in the back you would have a view of that.

This is a guest house. We were met at the time informed, We were given the key and pass code for the main door. I never saw anyone again. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Someone left the fire escape door open and it swung in the wind all night keeping me awake.

Wouldn't let us check in even a little bit earlier, so we had to wait for hours for check in. 'Contactless' check in, so it was strange not seeing any staff or speaking to anyone during our stay, it didn't feel very friendly. The breakfast options weren't great.

The location is great, and the house itself is lovely. There is a beautiful guest lounge looking onto the hills, which is a great place to unwind. Room was a good size. It was clean and quiet, and a good price.

The owners were very nice to give us a room upstairs, but since we did not travel light, it was difficult with our big suitcases in the stairs; but it was manageable. We will come back if we are again in the area.

The bed is the only real sticking point, it was too firm for me, and the headboard was very loud too. A little nitpicky but the driveway into the car park is uneven and very uncomfortable to drive in/ out. Could have used a better microwave but it was usable. No oven or hobs. No way to clean your own plates/ cutlery and I feel bad leaving it for the staff.

Location was pretty good, not super far from Inverness or Fort William whilst being 2 minutes walk from Loch Ness and the town of Fort Augustus. Decent breakfast options. Nice sized room and huge bathroom with good shower and great bath. Fridge in the room, very useful as well as desk and plenty of information about everything to do and historical points about different parts of the Highlands. Good atmosphere within the lobby itself, friendly and helpful staff.

The window of our room had bad noise insulation and the road was pretty noisy in the morning/evening but other than that it was very nice.

The location is very good and the price is excellent for the quality you get. Self check in is very well made and a small complimentary breakfast (serve yourself) is always welcome (cereals, milk, porridge...)! The room was warm when we got in after a rainy day, and the shower had all the equipment needed. Very nice stay!
