Love Langley Castle. The service is second to none and all the staff are very friendly. We got married there 7 weeks ago and the staff remembered us. Gave us a free upgrade on our room.

Loved our stay at Langley Castle. The castle and grounds were beautiful and room was perfect for us and our dog. We loved the castle tour in the morning. We really enjoyed it and the lady who showed us round was brilliant.

The restocking of glassware in suites could have been improved, but overall we have little to consider as a negative point. The bed in the Tower Suite was less comfortable than expected. As a comparison, just prior we had stayed at Lumley Castle in the Queen Anne Suite in which we found the bed considerably more comfortable.

Overall the experience offered by Langley Castle was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed the architecture to the family friendly dining. The drawing room was inviting and very comfortable to sit in while having coffee, drinks, and waiting for supper.

The location was idilyic and the staff lovely and friendly. I was given a suite and that was lovely and relaxing as family were coming round. Great food both in the evening and for breakfast. The historical tour was fascinating.

The staff were friendly and really helpful in every way. The accomodation was beautiful and quiet and certainly reccomend if you need somewhere to re charge the battery.

We stayed in the Castle Lodge with views of the castle, this room came with a large terrace where you can sit viewing the castle and grounds. Waiting for us in the room was selection of teas, coffee bags and biscuits.

Great location so close to Hexham. Comfortable room with good size bathroom. We stayed in the annex which is only a short walk into the castle and a walk around the grounds. Complimentary history tour in the morning free.

Food was a little pricy but tasted excellent so good for a very special occasion... not really a negative

Lovely location, a great history, and an excellent morning tour with interesting info. The room was fantastic, we stayed in the Percy room and managed to get a discount via booking.com as we booked after 12 on the day. We especially loved the drawing room.

Langley Castle Hotel is a beautifully restored Castle, steeped in history. Staying here really did feel special. Some nice long walks from the doorstep, if you're looking to be active, and a cold beer, or afternoon tea in the drawing room afterwards. Lots to do nearby if you want to explore Northumberland, but we decided to relax and soak up the peace and quiet. We stayed in one of the Castle View lodges which was a stone's throw from the castle, and within the grounds. The room was perhaps a little more tired that the main castle rooms, but this was most definitely reflected in the price. Lots to praise about this hotel, but the food needs a special mention. It was exceptional and their 'a la carte menu in the evening was one of the best meals I have had in a long time.
