Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe shower/bath didn’t have hot water for long The lamp wasn’t working in the room The cleanliness wasn’t amazing there was marks & what looked like lipstick on the door in the bathroom, the wet room was out of service & the hotel booking was quite expensive you have to pay for swimming on top. The floor was very noisy when walked upon in our room & the room above. The towels had a dark private hair upon them I saw this 3 times. The sink hole was mucky looks mouldy when filling the sink. The fridge was warm even on its coldest setting.

United Kingdomroom small and a little basic for what I'm used to from Hilton to be honest, also the note coming to the room to say they had tried to gain access with a request that I needed to go to reception, then been told it due to an unpaid bill even though that was not in the letter pushed under my door and the room was prepaid....!! was not happy they have all my contact details so could of got in touch this is not the way to do business
the room was clean but not the easiest to find and good job I was only staying for a short time as the room was small and you could only get in the one side of the bed, Nice bar area though.

United KingdomThe beds weren’t great, when my partner moved I was rocking all over the place. The doors of our guests woke me up in the night quite a few times as they are so loud to close. I was also hoping to use the swimming pool but £10 per person seemed a bit expensive so we gave it a miss which was a shame.
The buffet breakfast was amazing, loved that a lot, lots of choice. Breakfast staff also very helpful! The bedroom and bathroom decor was also very nice.

United KingdomNo clear mention of additional cost for swimming pool. Quite a high charge per use (90 minute pass) considering you are already hotel guests (£10 for adults and £5 for children). Cost could build up depending on how long you stay - this was disappointing as it was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. The charge came into play in Feb 2024 apparently.
Helpful staff, good breakfast choices..originally booked a compact room and had called ahead to check if the double bed was compact or just the room. Was advised th me double bed was normal sized but it definitely didn't seem it upon arrival. Too small for two to share comfortably. Explained this to reception though and was upgraded free of charge which was very much appreciated as had I have known it was a small double I wouldn't have booked that room.
