A bit of maintance of certain sections is warranted. I feel that the need to cross the river by foot should be more clearly communicated because crossing the bridge with a big bag would be particularly difficult for certain people. Finally, we had a cold shower on all three days and the water came out in a single stream from a pipe with no shower head. Not a huge constraint, but did make the end of the day slightly more uncomfortable.

Lovely setting, friendly staff and, if you like animals, they are great company when in common areas. Food was simple but good quality and tasty. Overall great stay and we were happy to be there.

Nothing , it was great!

The bed may have been the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! I felt like a princess and the bungalow was so ideal to just relax in the hammock. Julian was an incredible host and I really enjoyed chatting to him! And then I met Miguel on my last night and he was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. Also special mention Nino, Jack and Milo, I loved the doggo loves!!

Great place, close to the main road that connects several Tayrona national park entrances. But still, divided by a small river from the village and surrounded by rainforest trees. Awesome hosts, we got excellent recommendations how to trek the Tayrona NP. If you arrive by car that is of no issue, you can park in front of the house close to the path that takes you to accommodation suites. We paid to house owners a fee of 6000 COP per night for parking. It was perfectly safe. Diners were awesome, make sure to try local craft beers from Santa Marta ;)

The room was well presented, comfortable and very clean. The staff were helpful and caring. It's remote location might not be for everyone and it was awkward to access, either by wading across a river or via a suspension bridge.

The food was good but could be slightly improved upon, but maybe it's because, since I'm a vegetarian, my options were limited.

I had a great stay at Tyrona paradise! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the whole place was incredibly authentic and felt very isolated from civilisation, which was great. Everything was squicky clean and the place is barely 10 minutes by bus from the main entrance to the Tyrona National park, which is very convenient. I would 100% recommend!

this is a forest hideaway… lovely rustic bungalows run by a helpful lovely team. by public bus we were met and taken across an impressive suspension bridge to the resort. the food was fab (fried fish)

Everything was perfect about Tayrona Paradise. the room, the whole place, really nice breakfast and food, absolutely lovely staff always so friendly and so helpful with all the questions I had about what to do in the area. the posada is in a very convenient location too, very close to the main road (but you would not hear the traffic at all and you’ll be completely immersed in nature) so very easy to get the local bus to explore the surroundings. highly recommended to everyone!

I can’t fault anything, and this is not a negative point but it’s important to note that you need to cross a slim wooden bridge (someone helps you to carry your suitcases across) to get to the hotel. This would be difficult if you are not able bodied. But overall, this is all part of the adventure to get to paradise.

This is definitely paradise, it’s so beautiful that you don’t want to leave. We were so happy…..we stayed an extra two nights. The staff are really helpful and quickly become like your family, the food is delicious! The rescue dogs and cats are the cherry on the top - they are so playful and loving and we were sad to say goodbye to them. There are monkeys, chickens, frogs, beautiful mango trees and plants, natural pool…. the list is endless. Not to mention the most amazing river just outside your door, which we dipped into each day after coming back from our excursions. If you want to experience real Colombian hospitality and surroundings - this is the place for you. It’s close to Tayrona Park which is breathtaking and you can get there by bus, which stops outside the entrance of the hotel. We hired two motorbike taxis who took us to Palomino, stopping off at various places on the way - this cost £15 for five hours, a good way to see the beauty around you. I loved this place so much, I want to bring all of my family here next year.

Nothing i didnt like, but for some the cabaña may be a little too rustic for them. Keep in mind its in the jungle and has nets for a reason. Would be impossible to keep out every bug, but nothing large or creepy came in. Its a very natural experience, listening to the jungle, the river, all night and day. Perfect for me

A staff member met us in the parking area and guided us across a beautiful river to a magical door. I knew i was in for a treat at that moment. My kind of paradise for sure. Julian at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room is dreamlike, i booked the private cabaña sitting alone in the jungle, with a front porch and the most comfortable king bed ive had in years and a clean organized room with private bathroom and a mini fridge with drinks and snacks. The location is a bit hard to find & access and very simple.

The owners are amazing. It's a little, rather simple hideaway from the noise at the main street. Very family oriented and quiet. Breakfast and dinner are great.

The place is amazing. it is the Paradise indeed. Is inside the nature. The way of arriving is more interisting, you have to cross a river by a hunging bridge... it will be easy and confortable for you if you bring backpack instead of a bag.
