    Nothing!

The property is excellent clean, up to date and homely. Within 10 mins you can be in Bamburgh within 30 mins you can be in Alnwick ( Harry Potter Castle) and there is sooo much more you can do in the area. The location is excellent for walks and all amenities. If you like golf Seahouses Golf course will not disappoint the 10th hole is my favourite. If you like fishing there are soo many options. The village is excellent with plenty to do for families and great pubs for those that like a drink.

The weather, but this is England in March! One very small thing was the back door lock was a little tricky from outside but ok once you got used to it so nothing major at all and would return in a flash!

Absolutely loved this holiday home, easy to find, clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable. Well situated for the town and very easy to access the local shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The beach is a very pleasant short walk away and the Coastal Path is nearby. Provision of toiletries and hair dryers was appreciated, and the dog toys were much appreciated by the fur babies! Thanks, I am certain we will return in the future.

The noise from the council works but that was not the fault of the owner who did warn us

    Can’t think of anything.

Very well stocked- everything you could imagine ( if I’m being picky this didn’t leave much cupboard space in the kitchen for our food) very clean, nice and cosy which was fantastic after coming in from the wet weather. Comfy beds. Great location - 5 mins from Seahouses main st and harbour and 5 mins drive from Bamburgh. Lovely that it had been decorated for Christmas.

Sea Haven is a real home from home: it has everything you could possibly need and is very clean and well presented! Jill is a great host, who made us very welcome! The property is perfectly positioned, a couple of minutes walk from the centre, shops and lovely pubs! Beautiful walks straight from the doorstep: we’d recommend the fabulous walk along the beach to Bamburgh! Dedicated parking was also a nice bonus, so quick and easy to unload, to get to the beach quicker!

One of the bed side lights didn't work. The cutlery drawer is a little hidden but the land lady told us where to look.

It was a cofortable place to spend a dew days. The availability of Netflix was very useful in the evenings. Other than a cereal breakfast we did not cater for ourseves and spent just late evenings after dinner out. The place is perfect for that. The heating is very easy to adjust.

There was only one bathroom so with 6 guests looking for a shower in the morning, that required some organisation, but the property is not suited to another bathroom.

For our personal taste, we found some of the furnishings/decor a little dated. But appreciate this may be in keeping with the age/style of cottage. Also, the shower head could be bigger. Plus the toilet seat doesn't seem to fit too well. Finally, there was a bit of info/rules overload in our opinion.

Superb central location, lovely wood burner, well equipped cottage. So helpful to have a dedicated car parking space. Very comfortable sofas.

Only a very tiny niggle, but although the bathroom was amazing, the shower was not. Standing under a warm trickle wasn't great - but even worse when somebody turned the cold tap on downstairs and the warm trickle instantly turned into a scalding trickle. If I had been travelling with young children I would have worried, and perhaps suggested a safety cut off.

One of the best self catering homes I have stayed in. The location was excellent - right in the middle of town and round the corner from an excellent Co-Op and several lovely pubs. The beach was a couple of minutes away and we enjoyed walking up to Bamburgh and also the other way to Beadnell. It was also the cleanest place I have seen - I couldn't fault it (and I am super fussy!). Literally everything you may want during a holiday was there - from hair straighteners, to deck chairs - from dishwasher tablets to an Alexa. Even the dog was well catered for, with dog cushions, treats and bowls. Lots of space, comfortable beds and sofas, lovely and warm, even in February. Highly recommended.

Cottage was on street corner, oppose ite a garage, which I hadn't appreciated. Unable to park outside cottage, yellow lines and on a corner was not ideal.

Cottage was lovely, ideal for walking in village, or walking to beach 10 mins away
