Advertised as having a terrace in the room description.... There was a terrace but it was communal and no direct access from the room.

Beautiful building, quiet rural location, decent kitchen. Great for anyone who has ever dreamed of living in a house, a very big house in the country!

A really lovely stay and better than expected! Apartments are really cosy and has everything needed for a couple nights stay. Gorgeous setting with lovely owners and our little pup was in her element. Would 100% recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights in the Welbeck apartment, was very quiet and nice. We went for a long hike directly from Hargate Hall in Wormhill for a day in the beautiful nature to Monsal Trail, Tideswell and Monk's Dale in the Peak District.

Good value self catering accommodation in a great old hall. The accommodation has everything you would need for a short stay. The limestone way is about 5 mins walk down the fields into the valley and Buxton is about a 5 minute drive. We really loved the Eyam stout on tap at reception for £3 a pint. Bargain! Anthony the owner was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Despite being a non-smoking apartment our room had a very strong smell of tobacco smoke. Shower only suitable for short people. Fine for me at 5'6" but my partner at 6'2" really struggled, had to duck to avoid ceiling. Ladder for extra beds in mezzanine took up a lot of bedroom space.

Good location. Open fire was lovely. Owner very friendly Well equipped kitchen.

theres no reception we found it difficult to find our apartment but eventually found the map a day or so later a notice appeared on the front desk to phone dont think it was there when we arrived.

Problem with Booking.com meant that the proprietor could not take my money via that route. Tried bank transfer, unsuccessfully. Eventually sorted payment once I returned home.

Such a warm friendly family atmosphere. Very well equipped rooms. We stayed with all our family, our children and grandchildren and was made so very welcome. Will definitely go back!!!

Nothing really. It's a lovely flat in a lovely period property

Amazing flat we had. We stayed in Bakewell. Host was very helpful and reaponsive. Honesty bar was brilliant. Photos don't do justice to how cute actual place is. House is old and characterful. Floorboards creak on walking,which could bother some but we were fine. Flat has everything you might need. If in doubt just ask them as they are very friendly and quick to respond. I travelled with 2 elderly and a toddler. Everyone loved the flat especially my toddler who loved running up and down the 3 stories

We found the bed rather a narrow double.

Beautiful house and grounds, full kitchen, comfortable and well equipped living area, fresh milk on arrival, great value self catering accommodation, easy checkin and checkout.

-Grounds could be tidier and some areas a little unsafe for children, e.g. wedding marquee was unlocked. -Bedrooms were in the BASEMENT with no view and smelled a little damp. Bedrooms were dark and cold and claustrophobic. Bathroom was tight and had no windows. This is not evident in the photos and not mentioned in the blurb.

The setting; quiet location. Beautiful features in house. Honesty bar. Spacious lounge in our appartment. Big grounds with field for children to run around on.

Wonderful self catering place. Chosen for easy access to the Peaks. Had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
