The water pressure from all taps was a little lower than I was expecting, it made it hard to wash your hands in the bathroom or shower with long hair. (This is not a negative just something I noticed!!!)

Everything was perfect. Great location (the views were great and it was a quiet and secluded area but close enough to superstores and petrol stations in the area). The apartment itself was comfortable and warm. The building was well-maintained and clean.

Great apartment within a beautiful building and location. Our kids (aged 8 and 10) loved the ‘bunk bed’! The apartment had everything we needed. The hosts were great too and really helpful. We would 100% recommend for a family or a couple.

The property was well maintained. Mixture of modern comforts with classic hall decor and style. Did have some damage to the bathtub.

Property is as advertised. Lofts and bedrooms are neat, enjoyed and used the kitchen as well. Liked the book shelfs all around inside the hall. Well located in peak district to reach different hikes.

Excellent place ! We stayed in small apartment Haddon which was more then big enough for our little family. 2 adults, toddler and a dog. Beautiful surroundings of the house, so nice and easy to walk a dog at the morning and evening. Little play house for the kids 🤗 Close to all amazing places and nice pubs. Everything is about 15min max drive which is fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay ! In the hallway there are rooms where you can socialised with other people (if you want) board games, books and dvd .. absolutely great idea! Definitely will be back one day ! And 100% recommended 🤗

The apartment and Hall is a beautiful place to stay. The apartments are spacious and are really comfortable. Ours had everything we needed and made the stay feel like we were home but with the added benefit of the Peak District being a stones throw away. The communication from Anthony was excellent, before and after our trip. Extremely accommodating.

The weather. However there were lots of games supplied, lovely gardens and large communal areas.

Shower wasn't very powerful but the water was lovely and hot.

The main door is difficult to open and close. The kitchen extractor fan is out of order.

The main entrance was locked from the inside when we returned before 10pm after watching a film at the cinema in Buxton. I don't recall getting any notice about a curfew. But may have been a mistake? Luckily, we had access to our apartment via our ground-floor kitchen.

We arrived on a drizzly & darkening autumn afternoon so the atmosphere when we parked the car was really unique. Walking into the house we really felt a sense of an old manor house still close to its past - a sense of history & a touch of spooky. When we entered our apartment we were greeted with a warm space, comfy sofas, a welcome pack of food & everything from a baby travel cot to an ironing board! Having a fully equipped kitchen was really good. My young daughter loved sleeping in the loft area & discovering a hidden bedroom. Magical.
