    Nothing.

Although we were visiting family (and so it wasn't too important to us) this is a great location for visiting lots of beautiful places, and attractions, without having to travel too far each day. The B&B itself was spotlessly clean and Sean, the host, was friendly and helpful. As well as a selection of cereals, yogurt, fruit etc. there was also a good choice of cooked breakfasts to follow - all perfectly cooked by Sean's wife. The cosy lounge for guests' use was a definite plus - as you don't always get a lounge in a B&B. There were also special arrangements still in place e.g. Sean was wearing a face mask, hand sanitiser was placed at various points and the breakfast choices were placed at each table (rather than at a central point) and they were covered with a clean cloth. If you're still a bit wary then this was reassuring while also being discrete / not intrusive in any way. We would happily return.

There was nothing not to like!!

Wonderfully situated in central Leyburn, impossible to fault this lovely bed and breakfast stay. The room was immaculate and well stocked with toiletries and drinks, including beautiful home made biscuits from our host. Great choices for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the smoked haddock and poached egg. The home made jam and marmalade were also a delicious touch! Our host,s, Sean, and Heather, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We will certainly be returning!!

The shower in one of the newly done en-suites was very small. Personally, I would dispense with the doilies as they are outdated and paint the doors (from dark oak stain) to match the paint scheme. This would give the rooms a much more contemporary feel and complement all the good things already done.

We thought the breakfasts and service were exceptional and the owners friendly and engaging. A better breakfast experience would be almost impossible to find in a B&B. The whole place was spotlessly clean which was really reassuring

Tiny loo seat. Lamp switches stiff - not a big deal, but you did ask. My poor vision means I prefer a touch lamp.

Choice and quality of food served at breakfast was great. Service was very efficient and you could have as much as you wanted.
