Tired looking outside needed a lot of tidying up furniture very tired, not having being told there was no English breakfast but they did go out of their way to provide what they had but didn’t inform us that they were doing so by which time everyone had filled up on what was available.

The late start of breakfast: 07.30! I had to rush to my train.

First of all the friendly and efficient reception. It really made me feel welcome. I got a spacious room with some designer looking furniture and a top notch bed. A good assortment of teas, coffee and chocolate accompanied the kettle. The large bathroom scored extra for good lighting. The general style of seaside resort hotel was charming. A really good location!

some areas seemed a little dated. No one to meet me at breakfast so had to wait a while to be seated.

Only that the dcor in the public areas appeared in need of an up grade. The rooms and location were exactly what we were looking for.

Hotel was a bit Tired, but the staff where fantastic and very helpful. We only stayed overnight and didn't use the restaurant, But is looked busy and people seemed happy. The room was well presented and clean. Signage to the room was a little confusing and the corridors could do with an upgrade.

the hotel on arrival looked a bit tired, along with the decor inside, however the room was great & for the money i paid, more than happy.

Being honest i wasn't expecting much from this hotel for the price i paid, however i was hugely impressed with my staff. From friendly welcome when i arrived, during breakfast & when i left. The hotel on arrival doesn't look amazing, but the room was big enough, clean & a very comfortable bed. Will stay again when next in Torquay & thank you for having me.

Unfortunately the heated indoor pool wasn’t heated so a bit of a shock to the system. Also no evening meal available and the bar was permanently closed.

Ideal location to Beach front and local transport into town. Town was a 20 min walk. Room really clean and comfortable.

We weren’t able to use the pool because of an overload of chlorine chemicals which was a pity but the hotel arranged for us to swim at another hotel so all worked out in the end.

Close to the beachfront, clean and accommodating. Staff were fantastic! Good breakfast.

Carpark in near the entrance sometimes making it hard to gain entry.

Shame that none of the facilities were available! No bar, restaurant, pool etc. Not sure when the outdoor pool was last in use, the indoor pool was also out of order so we were told we could use another hotel's facilities during out stay. We did on 1 occasion but it was a bit inconvenient as a good 15 min walk away (rather than just nipping downstairs). The outdoor pool was lovely and warm, but quite tired and not ideal when cold outside. The indoor pool again a bit tired and the water was cold!
