The walls were quite thin and we could hear people in the next room talking and laughing til about 3-4am also there was a weird humming noise that we could hear as well that gave me a headache. I took a shower whilst I was there and it didn't drain very well ending up standing in what felt like a bath and almost slipped but luckily didn't

Everything was clean beds were relatively comfy breakfast was nice x

The bedroom, carpet stained and dirty, one of the mattresses was hollow, and you couldn’t sit up in bed due to the eaves of the roof.

The Staff were friendly, the food was lovely and location was great

The fan in the bathroom (room 6) was very noisy, the bedside lamp had to be unplugged behind the drawers to turn it off. The windows could do with some draft seal. Television too small and didn't tilt around on wall.

The breakfast was outstanding with perfectly poached eggs. Food in restaurant was great value for money.

Very tired, but ok for one night. En suite nowhere to hang clothes, nowhere to put toothbrush, toothpaste etc Main concern for me was the state of the carpets, really need a deep clean.

Only minor points but things I was less keen on; toilet door nearly opened onto the toilet making it cramped and the shower plug hole was partially blocked meaning I ended up having water up to my ankles.

I used the George & Dragon as a base to travel to Crufts dog show at the nearby NEC. The big car park at the rear was very handy. It has a restaurant which I used and the food was decent if not spectacular, I had fish and chips one night chicken curry the other. Standard pub fare. My room had a double bed and a single in it. It was clean and tidy and there were plenty of tea bags and coffee sachets by the kettle. The shower cubicle was large which I liked and the shower itself worked well. I had two cooked breakfasts with were nice. And they serve from six forty five which really suited me because I had to be at the NEC for eight, a very early start. The staff were pleasant and accommodating and overall for what I paid it was a good stay.

Exactly as described, a traditional pub with accommodation. My room was a reasonable size, especially for sole occupancy. It was quiet, warm, well equipped and had everything I needed. The bathroom was modern with a good shower. Breakfast choice limited but very well cooked.

An old pub. I did request a lower ground floor room, as I have mobility low strength to climb stairs. We were allocated a room up 5 flights in the roof space. The Booking site didn’t allow me to enter 2 people staying and it was a triple single bedroom. I had sent an email and it accepted I would have a lower room. The towel radiator valves were leaking, one plastic box under 1 & I put the small bin under 2nd valve. It was reported n they were waiting for the plumber.

15 minutes to Birmingham airport. Good pub food and an excellent breakfast. They offer long stay car parking which we will bear in mind for future. Our room was clean and modern Ensuite with toiletries. See water leak comments below

We didn't get the double room asked for due to a plumbing issue Which was ok these things happen. But the replacement room a twin Was disappointing... Noisy from kitchen extractor, staff talking loudly one early morning and the road because the double glazing was not adequate. Also the room smelt of cooking fat from the extractor . Room furniture in bad state of repair very rickety beds, broken chair. Carpet stains . broken window. We didn't want or need 5* accommodation just normal basic would do Website says good nights sleep.Unfortunately we didn't get that.

The staff were kind and friendly and the breakfast was really good. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub on our first night . Good shower and clean bathroom Clean bedding and towels Old quirky historic pub

My only small issue was that, twice, I messaged the property through the Booking site with a couple of questions but I receive a reply to either message. In the end I had to ring to get answers to my questions but this was my only issue and really something for the property to look into.

The breakfast was lovely, and the staff very friendly. The room was great, with a lovely view, and the bed very comfortable.
