Perfect location, immaculate rooms and really friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us!

The stairs that you have to climb as I have some mobility issues but I recognise that that couldn’t be helped given the nature of the building.

Tracy could not have done more and was so lovely and the room was very comfortable. There was no air conditioning so you didn’t get dried out. There was a great fan and the windows opened.

Tracey who owns the property was so nice, warm and friendly, nothing was a bother. It was my husbands 70th birthday. When we arrived they gave us a birthday drink and in the room was a birthday balloon and banner. All the staff in the bar were also excellent, again nothing was a bother. The rooms were lovely, lovely big bathroom. They haven’t been long done up. We were in the Mersey room very spacious.

Room was lovely and clean. Nicely decorated with wall murals. There was a mix up with our booking and we were in the wrong room the first night but staff couldn’t have been nicer in sorting it out and provided a complimentary breakfast to apologise. Would recommend. Easy walk to dockside and city centre.

I thought it was a little expensive for just a room; this isn't really a hotel but more like 5 guest rooms above the bar.

It was fab! Clean, extra towels.

Super location! An easy walk from Lime Street Station and central for historical walks around docks and easy buses around Liverpool from James Street. The pub below is amoung the oldest in Liverpool and serves a huge and reasonable priced breakfast. Staff are super friendly and so helpful for orienting around the city.

Unfortunately due to weather no TV But I was compensated by a breakfast & a drink! Very nice If you would like your room refreshed each day just request, No problem there Rooms are above the Slaughterhouse Pub Enter through a big yellow door separate entrance beside pub, request key from pub staff

No lift but they have helped us in our luggages so it’s not a problem at all.

Very warm and welcoming staff. This is the best asset of the hotel. Well situated location. We got a well lighted and spacious room. Very clean as well.

This is a recent renovation of rooms above the Slaughterhouse pub. Perfect location for an overnight stay in the city. Met by the lovely friendly owner who showed us to our room. Spacious room and bathroom, immaculately clean with coffee and tea making facilities and bottled water provided. Bed very comfortable! Would definitely stay again and recommend as a good value for money option in the city.

There was no parking at the venue but good parking round the corner.

Nothing, it’s an amazing hotel!

The room was just as in the pictures, the staff were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble! Great location & great pub underneath! Will definitely book again when we come back! 😊
