Gates on communal garden. When venue is pet friendly it would be great is gates had less gaps in them as dogs could run around communal garden safely then without risk of running out onto road

The cottage is a paradise for doggy lovers and even has its own private park behind with enclosed area where you could off lead your dogs. The village is friendly for dog owners with dog 💩 bag station and river walking trail The health club is fantastic for rainy day

The extractor fan in the bathroom was quite noisy during the night as it was rattling in the wind but other than that we had an exceptional stay

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property: - Just a personal preference: would recommend the small lamp in living area use a warmer bulb as the lighting is very all-or-nothing. - The extractor fan in bathroom wasn’t working, however, the team were extremely responsive and maintenance were very quick to come out and assess.

It had literally everything we needed, kitchen was full of useful items. The layout was great, apartment was warm and cosy, especially thanks to the fire, bed was very comfortable, shower was lovely too. The complimentary wine was cert nice! It was very close to all the sights we wanted to see and the spa was such a nice experience. We will absolutely be returning in the future! :) Thank you so much!

We couldn’t get the hot water or heating to work. We called the maintenance number, the guy told us to turn knobs on boiler the and on the radiators. We were going out so had to leave without having a shower. When we came back all was working fine. When we were asked for feedback we gave it, then the owner replied very curtly and said we were basically to blame! We would not have called the number if everything was working fine. We expected an apology but got what felt like a telling off! It’s a big room with a small sofa, and one chair. Neither of these were very comfortable

We loved the cottage, very comfortable, well equipped and stylish. Also loved the spa facilities just a few steps from our front door. Great location for visiting Bamburgh, Holy Island, Seahouses and many more places.

Everything was spot-on!

The whole area around Stablewood Cottages is lovely. The cottages themselves are very clean and comfortable and the grounds are immaculately looked after. Our Frenchies enjoyed having a lovely little fenced grass area to run around in. Whilst we didn't use the Spa, we visited both the Station House cafe and Apple Inn that are part of the same complex. Lucker is very well located for Bamburgh and Seahouses, as well as only being a couple of minutes drive from the A1, which allows you to travel further afield.

Access to the property as I rang the owner to ask for the code with no response, but rang domestic who gave me the code. We received the code a day later

The accommodation was well equipped, good location. There was also complimentary wine and refreshments which was a nice touch.

Customer service was a let down for me, we had some queries with changing our booking and reporting a few issues with the property but every time we rang to contact the property, we got voice mail and no reply. I tried mobile numbers and local numbers, no one picked up every time. For such luxury I’d expect customer service to included but sadly I felt this was not the case.

The property was gorgeous and luxury. The facilities available were amazing.

Straightforward - I was sent the key code by email beforehand . Lovely property , traditional looking , modern interior , excellent utilities ( washing machine , dryer , dishwasher , modern cooker , homely , comfortable

Messages are still a bit covidy- for example a suggestion we put sheets and towels in a laundry bag. Fine for towels but I think changing beds is part of the service paid for. This was a tiny niggle in an otherwise amazing stay though.

The cottages were lovely and well equipped. Every member of staff we came across was friendly. We enjoyed breakfast at the School Yard and a little spa visit too. The spa is gorgeous and we were the only ones there at 9am. The bed was so comfortable. Easy self check in and parking right outside cottage. Our weather (in July) was so shocking that the heated towel rail was much used.. It was such a good stay my friend has already booked her return trip in August!

The sofa & chair were not very comfortable although we only stayed one night and very little time was spent just relaxing in the apartment.

The apartment was very well thought out and provided for, great attention to detail and small luxuries such as the coffee provided, treats and towels for the dogs, and all utensils, crockery and pans provided. The bed was huge and very comfortable (firm) The location was perfect, very quiet and only a 10 minutes drive to Bamburgh.
