Little noisy at times as it is an old building - but nothing too disturbing!

The hosts were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much of an ask. They got our room ready for an early check in as we had a wedding to get too - which was really appreciated. The bedding was like sleeping in a cloud and the view from the room was stunning. Incredibly clean and all round a really pleasurable stay.

No parking but it wasn’t an issue as we could park right outside the property. Nothing we didn’t like.

Great place to stay, clean, warm and home comforts. Good location. Room was spacious and true reflection of description and photos. Hosts are very humble and very informative. Gorgeous breakfast served in the morning. Would highly recommend. We had a lovely stay here.

Exceptional, we were warmly greeted. Accommodation was absolutely fantastic. The room, food, and location are second to none. A must stay for any Windermere/Bowness visitors.

The only thing i could fault was set breakfast times ,had to choose the night before what time and what breakfast and if them time slots had been taken for breakfast then you couldnt have breakfast till a later slot ,which we ourselves found inconvenient if we wanted to go out early ,although it did state if you wanted an earlier breakfast you could speak to them about it ,i think that meant earlier than the timeslots .

Absolutely nothing to complain about

The warm welcome from our hosts Ken and Cindy . Everything was perfect as we had been to this Guest House 12 years previously and our reason for returning was that we were impressed with our last stay the breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble . The room was exceptionally clean as was the whole house the residents lounge was warm and comfortable

Not a single part of our stay at Denehurst could have been more exceptional. Cindy and Ken yet again made their house a home for us. Their warmth, generosity and hospitality, the delicious and freshly cooked breakfasts (you must try Cindy’s homemade waffles!), the super comfortable rooms and the pristine facilities all contributed to the most relaxing holiday for us. They can’t do enough to ensure their guests do not have a thing to worry about. Their enjoyment for the house they have created shows every minute of your stay. It truly felt like being welcomed in by old friends.

Ken & Cindy were two lovely hosts who really took great care of us and spent time to ensure our stay was top notch, personalized, and we felt at home. The room was clean, had everything we needed, and the breakfast was delicious! The only regret I have is not staying longer - but if we ever visit Lake District again we're definitely booking with Ken & Cindy!
