Excellent, good-sized room, comfortable bed, adjustable heating. Excellent breakfast choice. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Free parking. Dinner menu looked good, but we were meeting others elsewhere.

The cleaning staff knocked about 10am but we had the room until 12pm. We only had a few hours sleep. Maybe best to leave the cleaning until the guests have left.

Communication with customers could be improved, and the breakfast is a little poor and has room for improvement. Room maintenance could also be improved as the air conditioning was not working well on the day I went.

The hotel is very comfortable, clean and quiet, excellent for a good rest. I made my reservation with breakfast and dinner included, the restaurant food at dinner is very delicious and has a generous portion. The hotel staff has always been very friendly and polite.

Although the rooms were clean, spacious and beds were comfortable. The rooms are a little dated, I do however appreciate that they are decorated to match the period but are a little tired. The bathrooms could do with an update. Food was lovely but felt a little top heavy on price. Inclusive breakfast was as expected.

I loved that the staff were very friendly and happy, nothing was too much trouble, I left a note for housekeeping with a request, which was fulfilled that day with a note back to me which was lovely. Shower was good pressure and hot. Although I had planned to use the complimentary david lloyds club I simply didn't have time but great is is included.

stayed for three nights in January, received a £100 parking fine for one of the nights ( parking is complimentary , try to ring hotel and just get cut off every time .

I thought it could have been closer to the Airport. Short taxi ride 5 min , not a big issue.

Plenty of dim lighting which was cosy but a bright light would also be helpful since it was difficult to see properly.

Lovely rooms and furnishings, good value and complimentary parking. Bathrooms were furnished in Art Deco which was interesting and to a high standard.

Only downside is its location from the airport but some would say that's a good thing because you don't have to listen to the planes. It's just an in between location, little far for the kids to walk and barely long enough to render a taxi ride. 🙈

Staff were so lovely, very helpful. Beds were comfortable and pillows were fab. Breakfast was fresh, and plentiful. We only stayed one night and had never picked this hotel before. We travel over from Ireland for football matches a few times a season. We'll definitely be staying here again after this stay.

The room was a bit cold, we tried to adjust the temperature but it wasn’t working. We didn’t get a chance to check with the staff because it was already late and we were going to leave the next day! The location was also a bit bad, was too far from the city centre.

I felt like the hotel needed a bit of a spruce up. I appreciate things can break and maybe it was just unfortunate timing that our visit was when it was. The carpets on the ground floor were very dirty and smelly, but I think there was a leak issue at the start of the corridor.

My only gripe was the breakfast service in the dining area. For such a busy period there didn’t appear to be adequate staff to clear tables, provide cutlery and bring coffee. Breakfast is partially self service, an improvement would be allow guests to get their own cutlery and tea/coffee. I felt sorry for the staff there having to deal with people looking their tables cleared and looking for hot drinks or made to order items. It’s worth the £4.50 charge to have breakfast in your room the following morning.

Not a thing the only one 'gripe' is that the Xmas lunch was very expensive and not hugely enjoyable. Otherwise the service and staff were fabulous.

Everything was fabulous - hotel was clean, close to all amenities, and family that we were visiting over the Xmas holidays.

Breakfast was disappointing. I ordered soft boiled eggs off the menu with dipping soldiers. Eggs were served hard boiled. Fortunately there was hot buffet breakfast available so I just chose something from there instead.

Great size room overlooking some classic aircraft. Well located over road from retail park with lots of food options. Free parking also a bonus and just 2 minutes from airport.
