It would have been good if the advert had told us they did not supply towels. One toilet roll between 4 people for 2 nights not sufficient. One knife and three forks for 4 people not sufficient

Self catering. Location very central to shops, ayr town and transport. Apartment exceptionally clean and spacious with sky TV and WiFi. Heating very easy to use and kitchen had everything we needed except sufficient cutlery and drying clothes. My party of four were very comfortable and had a pleasant stay with a good sleep. Great value for money.

No towels provided, despite being listed. Had to chase owners for checking in information to be told, on day of check-in and after we had left that 5here would be no towels. Not great when travelling light for an early Ryanair flight.

The bed was very uncomfortable, and a tad small, the neighbours fought constantly for the full stay, doors slamming, her shouting about how much she f***ing hated him, this went on all night x2 and carried on to the morning we were leaving,, thought she was banging on our door

There were really only 2 significant downsides, firstly the property is in what I would call an industrial area, with a car showroom, several workshops, and commercial units. However, I think this is well reflected in the price and it represents great value for what you get when you step inside. The one thing that could have been controlled was that the cutlery and plates were not washed properly, were it not for this we would have given it top marks for cleanliness

All the comforts of home, lovely lounge area, WiFi, and sky TV. Kitchen was basic but contained everything we needed. Would definitely book again

Owner didn't answer messages or calls. We were kept waiting on the street for half an hour. He maintains check-in time is 4 pm but our confirmation states 3 pm. Why could he not tell us the code for the key-safe? Has the potential to be a great place to say. Attention to small details required: e.g. only given half a toilet roll, only hand towels provided.

Fairly good accommodation but has the potential to be an excellent one. Good, quiet location, near shops and town centre. Bus stop nearby.

Can't think of anything but some people may initially be put off by the location

Breakfast not included (which I knew beforehand). Was a bit concerned when I found the property in an industrial/commercial area but once I got into the property all was okay. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen area, bedroom could sleep 4 people (1 double bed and 2 single beds), bathroom had all the facilities and the lounge was a nice area to relax.

The gaz is on a top up meter. We run out on Christmas day and had to spend one night with no heater. We did as the owner said and switched it off every time we left. When I contacted him, instead of just saying sorry that he couldn't top up, he said we couldn't have done what he said. Perhaps the top up was just enough for night time heating. A few extra bits would have been nice such as a dish sponge, a dryer rack since there is a washing machine. Also a few hooks to hang the towels. The rail for the shower curtain is not fixed all along so we didn't use it for fear of it falling done. Overall would be happy to rent again in the summer.

I struggled to find the keysafe despite instructions given where it was but a very helpful gentleman from the premises below showed me where it was.

Lovely big apartment with comfortable sofas and living room. Sky TV was a lovely bonus. Parking on the street outside which was great.

The shower curtain had a broken rail and water leaked from under the bath. The toilet seat was broken. No coffee maker was found and no tea or coffee either. Utensils were dismal no egg lifter. Despite there being no washing powder the washing actually vibrated that badly the cupboard door opened and the pots went on the floor. Definitely no frills here. The light in the lounge also didn't work. Lots of repairs need to be done here. We are travelling by train to can't carry alot.

The unit was clean and tidy and the bed were conformable.
