No towels provided, shower rail was broken and hanging down from the ceiling, no hot water in the kitchen, no diswashing liquid, so unable to wash our dishes, which we would most certainly have done. Smelly oven with trays with left over grease in them, pretty grose smell from the oven. Floor pretty wonky. Owner was hard to contact.

Great to have a washing machine, lounge room was good but only one working light. Plenty of room, has a kitchen table. Beds were comfortable.. Beds all in one room a double and two singles in a large room.

The corridor to the flat smelt like some of the cafes you walk past in Amsterdam. The flat itself luckily did not. However, the bathroom had a very strange smell, damp mixed with something else, the flooring definitely needs replacing. The shower curtain was broken and kept falling from the ceiling, it was held up by tape. No loo roll, so had to pop out and buy some. Kitchen had pretty much all what you needed, no instructions for the boiler that I could find, so could not get hot water, boiled the kettle to wash up. No washing up liquid but some random cleaning products left under sink. Sitting room was lovely, but when the kids put the recliners up, underneath was full of crisps etc. and be careful with curtain rail as when I pulled the curtains open, the pole moves and almost fell down.

Location was excellent as used this for a stopover before an early morning flight from Glasgow prestwich. The price, for what we need it was a really good price, especially for 4 people.

The sheet in the large bed had some old stains, which was very uncomfortable. The flat ist situated in an industrial estate.

Very run down flat mould on bathroom ceiling and floor the entrance was run down with broken furniture on a narrow staircase. contacted the owner as no hot water because boiler was broken but got no response back. There was also a screw in bedroom floor which my grandson cut his foot on wouldn't recommend it to anyone

The gas meter had run out and the boiler didn't work we had no hot water or heating the host promised to have it fixed but after the second day communication stopped and we didn't hear anymore we had to buy a small fan heater as it was cold at night when we arrived there was dirty dishes in the sink no toilet rolls and 2 old towels I was really disappointed in the unprofessional host

Having to leave.

I have left a 9 rating for this stay, it would have been 10, but finding out there was no toilet roll, after things had passed was a challenging situation !! The place was immaculate, it had everything it stated, big bedroom, big kitchen area, big living room. I honestly cannot find a single thing wrong with the place, it was absolutely superb. I have seen this mentioned as a 'budget apartment' in some posts, well I would have no hesitation whatsoever in taking family here for a weeks stay, it was anything but budget. Massive thanks to the hosts.

Communication with the host was good to begin with then after property was paid in full would not answer messages. Description said check in 3pm but I was told by the host no earlier than 4pm when I queried this no response was given to messages. The property had no toilet roll 😔 had to find a nearby shop to purchase. Not the best when your child needs the toilet. The bathroom floor linoleum very damp (lots of black staining possible mould) later found this could be due to the water coming out the bath panel when shower is on, not enough towels provided. The bedroom carpet very old not pleasant and a screw is popping out had to cover with cushion so no one would hurt themselves, beds not the best. No Yale key provided for the bottom door. Didn't feel it was in the best area would not stay again.

Nothing, it was just grand!

What an absolute gem of a place! My daughter and I were doing a family pilgrimage and we did not want any time constraints so being able to arrive at a time to suit us and collect the keys from the key safe was perfect. We booked this property based on location, availability and price so hadn't really looked at the listing. We were surprised to find that it was a whole apartment. The beds were really comfortable, the lounge was comfortable too. It was just absolutely perfect for our needs. We were able to walk into town and there is an Aldi just 5 minutes walk away which was really convenient. Clean, well kept, good location not far from the centre of town with free parking. I would highly recommend staying here.

the fact that the owners did not take on board comments about the cleanliness. after telling me that it was a budget accommodation, budget does not mean unclean stains in toilet, unstable toilet seat and hairs on the wall and in the beds. Sadly this just isn’t acceptable.
