Walks were thin so could hear a dog barking , a man snoring etc but I would still come back again

The resteruant service was slightly off. Some items not avlialble and a 10 minute delay between meals arriving. Not bad enough to complain about, but as you asked.

Housekeeping staff, were the best I have encountered. So helpful, so nice and they did a perfect job.

On arrival we were left waiting at reception for 10 minutes before we even saw a member of staff. Reception is in the middle of the dining room which was busy when we arrived so that was awkward! Room was nicely decorated but could have been cleaner. As soon as the bathroom light was turned on it was obvious the floor hadn’t been washed and some areas could do with a bleach! Dust on areas not hard to clean and bits on the carpet that could have been hoovered better. Evening meal was a disaster and very over priced for what you get. Breakfast not even quite average, wasn’t even asked how we’d like our eggs cooked or if we wanted any sauces but considering there’s only 1 waitress to serve a busy room that’s hardly surprising. The whole place is clearly under staffed.

Every member of staff we met were all lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.

Beautiful place to stay, room was very nice & staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Would be a lovely place for wedding reception. It's a shame we didn't stay longer.

Should change the tap on the shower because a woman can't close it alone. The size of the bad could be much bigger

Was quite noisy during the night. Despite being in a remote location there was quite a lot of traffic outside.

Directions to check-in weren't too clear at night from the carpark, could do with signs on the doors of the outside being clearer.

Lovely Twin Room, Bed Mattresses were really thick and comfy ! complementary water, and quality tea/coffee in room, sadness on UHT milk but can't have everything. Sturdy wardrobe, with plenty of hangers and desk. Separate table with comfy chair to relax in while watching the huge TV - Hook on back of door appreciated to hang outside coats on. Ensuite shower well appointed, with very large shower cubicle with 2 shower heads, one rain fall and other hand held, and a really nice warm towel rail to keep the towels aired. Had dinner at the Hotel, really nice chilled atmosphere, had a few drinks at bar then had main meal - Food was not cheap, but the quality of the food was amazing, they clearly had an amazing chef on when we visited. Breakfast was prompt, had a really lovely menu to choose from, all inclusive, no hidden supplements which was nice - also had modern drinks vending machines to get coffee or tea in a tea pot if you like, plus a small buffet of fresh fruit, yogurts, toast etc.. The Staff member in charge of looking after the guests for breakfast was lovely, really smart and so helpful and friendly, made us feel really welcome.

The breakfast was delicious thank u to the chefs and kitchen staff very impressed.. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We came up for the carnival so didn’t really stay to long but we wished we had but definitely coming back ..

The staff were massively accommodating - they allowed us to check in early as we were to be attending a wedding in Wells. They also took the time to recommend some taxi firms who were also friendly and on time. They also informed us in advance of a function happening in the venue which might have been noisy and made sure that our room was at the other end of the venue to minimise any disruption. We had absolutely no issues at all.
