This is our second time staying here. it's a lovely little family run getaway. Everything you need is provided its clean and very comfortable facilities are excellent.close to a 3hr hiking trail then able to relax with a swim/jacuzzi and sauna or just relaxing with a cuppa.

Steve and Maria are lovely and very welcoming. The cottage was clean and very conftable equippedwith everythingyouwouldneed, there were lovely walks in the countryside nearby, and the use of the swimming pool and sauna made our break perfect, we are definitely planning to stay here again.

The property was very clean and comfortable. Amazing location and views. The hosts thought of everything including a welcome bottle of mulled wine and chocolate. The swimming pool and sauna facilities really made our stay special. We will definitely be booking a future visit in the summer.

Nice comfortable clean cottage with everything we needed and in a great location to explore the area. Very comfy bed, and a great shower, and in a nice quiet location, would recommend a stay here. Also had great communication from the owner regarding access.

I think due to the wind at night there were a few strange noises but nothing that anyone could do about it.

A warm welcome from Maria offered anything we needed. Being able to go away with our dog and stay in a lovely, well presented property in our own space being able to come and go as we please. The location was perfect for all activities that we wanted to do. Places to eat and drink were recommended and we tried them and wasn’t disappointed. If anyone has poor mobility or needs support in the bathroom there are hand rails and plenty of room a well thought out layout.

The property was of a very high standard with everything thought out. The hosts were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was fabulous and the location perfect.

We made the mistake of doing the Kielder Forest Drive. It is really for 4-wheel drive off-roaders. The road is rough and creates a lot of dust. The car needed a good wash afterwards.

Comfort, facilities, swimming pool, scenery. Excellent meal in local pub: Holly bush inn in Greenhaugh. Lots to do around Kielder Forest and Lake.

Very friendly welcome, we stayed for four nights in the cottage it was very clean and cosy place to stay. Maria made a lovely breakfast for us ever morning 10 out of 10 . We don't want to tell you every thing about our stay at cracking view our it will be always fully booked and we will not get back there!! Ha. We hope to go back soooon .

All was perfection

The Cottage was just perfect, fully equipped with everything that we needed, so homily and comfortable...the owners stephen and maria made our stay exceptional, very friendly and informative, nothing was a problem 😀 with the added touch of there extended family...chickens of which my Carmela adored,hugo the newfoundland and terry and june the emu duo ...the spa facilities are a nice little extra also,very relaxing. All in all 10 out of 10 and we will most definitely return, it is also in an idylic area,perfect for walking and exploring 😀 Thankyou for a fantastic weekend and highly recommended to friends and family 👪

There was nothing that we didn't like!

The hosts were super friendly and were available for any questions or help! The bed is massive which is perfect for me and my partner! All facilities were great and we really couldn't ask for more, great location, great hosts and super comfortable and cosy what more could you ask for! We will definitely be back

The bed mattress and frame is the only flaw in this wonderful stay.

Steve and Maria are lovely, very helpful and welcoming. cottage is a perfect size, everything you need. 1 mile from the pub which on a quiet road is a nice walk. We even got some lovely eggs as a parting gift 💝
