No water in the morning. Called for maintenance but didn't arrive so didn't get to have showers/ baths before leaving.

Plenty to keep the children occupied. Balloon modelling and face painting in the evening whilst we had a drink in the bar. Plenty of choice in the restaurant for both adults and children, left very full.

As always with this hotel they are always short staffed. Only one person doing check ins, despite the queue being literally out the front door. This needs addressing sooner rather than later. Waiting 30 minutes in a queue is unacceptable. Every time I stay here the computers seem to go down making checking in a protracted experience. Guy on check-ins who identified as the shift manager was dressed like he was hung over, come on youre the manager so smarten up and set an example to all the other staff who were floating around doing sweet nothing. Two of the sockets (room 215) were loose with dodgy connection so kettle didn't always work. Lots of slamming doors and kids running up and down corridor. Then the live band started up which vibrated through the floor of my room. Unfortunately this was the cheapest option on booking.com at the last minute so yeah not really an option. Needed more milk as only two tiny sachets provided in room but because only one staff member at reception who was dealing with a huge queue of check-ins I couldn't get more.

Room 'upgraded' when the room type I had booked strangely wasn't available. Big comfy bed. Bath in addition to shower. Managed to get parked close to back door.

I didn't like the lack of choice for eating in the evening. It's a pity the bar didn't do bar meals rather than just pizzas and nachos. The buffet looked nice but we weren't looking for a big meal.

I liked the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere where children and dogs are welcomed but there's plenty of space and room for everyone.

Rooms little bit outdated. Matress not comfortable, making lots of noise. There was very strong odour in our room, I think it was coming from the bathroom. Our towels were stained.

Localisation was fantastic, staff friendly. Swimming pool was a bonus, my daughter did swim every day.

It’s clean and tidy but a little too far from town (for me) to walk but there’s enough in the hotel to keep me busy for a night or two.

Outdated and stale for the price you are paying and not the cleanest. Staff are overworked which means really really slow service but most of them were nice.

Once away from the lobby the hallways were a bit jaded with some areas of worn carpeting on stairs. Our room was warm but we couldn’t open the window as we were above some sort of machinery. A fan was provided. Food could have been warmer. There was a microwave there to heat food if needed. A taxi would be needed if you wanted to visit aviemore and wanted a drink. (To be fair we knew this when booking and didn’t bother us)

Traditional Scottish breakfast and cereals available with coffee machines and hot water urn for tea. Buffet dinner at night. Room was decent. Lobby and bar were good with entertainment on Saturday night for a few hours.

Room was very outdated, with mould in the bathroom. Bed very uncomfortable and could feel every spring in mattress.

Our room was a little stuffy and wasn't cleaned or towels restocked the 2nd night. Maybe we needed to request this, I'm not sure. But just needed a top up of towels and coffee items. I ended up getting these from the lobby anyway.

After reading reviews online, I was hesitant to book here, but the kids facilities were too tempting. I'm so glad I booked it. Animatronic Dinos, two nice sized clean pools, an arcade with VR rides and an indoor soft play area were all great. The communal areas of the hotel were quite nice and the location was great! Nice friendly and very helpful staff. Yes check in took a while, but this was because a whole load of people turned up at the same time. They get tour groups. The staff were quick and efficient working their way through checking people in as best they could. The room we had was a bit dated but clean. For the price we paid, this was definitely fair. Breakfast was good and a fair price. Beds were comfortable enough. I honestly think some of the reviews are coming from your groups that maybe didn't know what they were getting and expected a 5 star resort for budget prices. For a short family get away and a last minute booking We were happy and we are looking forward to coming back again.

Cost of food was too much so didn't get any meals. Could have done with a small fridge in room and a safe.
