We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI think the hotel was once really grand and would have been stunning. Over the years however, it's clearly needed modernisation. Although the room was big and the bed spacious, the bathroom looked like it was from the 1940's. The shower had very little power and it took ages to take the shampoo out of my hair!there's building work on the hotel and other buildings in that block. We weren't told this and the builders start work approx 07:45. They're very loud.

United KingdomThe whole hotel needs updated and quite a bit of money spent on it. It looks old and in need of repair. It's a beautiful hotel with some lovely features but definitely needs to be brought into the 21st century.
All the staff are really friendly and nothing was a bother.

PortugalThe room was pretty small, not really a problem on this occasion, size and layout did not allow for a desk/table for working. Room carpet needs a shampoo.
The location is excellent, very close to the train station, restaurants, bars, main shopping areas. Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast. Wi fi was sufficient for my needs. Appreciated the good size bathroom with bath.

United KingdomFloorboards were the creakiest ever. But the hotel is an old building and it didn't worry us at all or take anything away for our stay.You can hear people walking about upstairs from us with the creakiness.
Excellent full English buffet breakfast was really good and was included in our room rate 👍🍳 Superb location, right in the thick of things on the main road with all the pubs literally on the doorstep.
