The view from the hotel is superb. On arrival we had a wonderful lunch in the restaurant overlooking the sea and the river esturary. The hotel facilities are very clean and fresh.

The car park needs a bit of rejuvenation.

View from our room was onto another room, however, it was larger and more luxurious than expected. To see the spectacular view, just go downstairs.

Bed was comfortable, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and kettle good, room was larger than expected. Probably for a family of four.

Although we had organised a disabled car parking spot close to the entrance, it was marked for our usage but occupied by non disabled residents - what is the point of organising this?

The Full English breakfast was a disappointment. Unwarmed plates meant the meal was not hot enough. Some of the components were not ready all at the same time, making matters worse . The filter coffee served with breakfast was lukewarm too.

The friendliness and interest of the staff, especially Reception and Spa. I was travelling alone and new to staying at The Cliff despite being local. Complementary use of the Spa pool and steam room . A great way to begin the day! The Continental breakfast. The location. An exhilarating coastal walk to Cardigan Island Farm Park and the views beyond. Excellent for seabird watching and seals. Nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou.

The bathroom light came on automatically on opening the door and it wasn't possible to turn it off, which was annoying, especially as we had a baby in the room. I also really resent being charged £10 for use of a travel cot. Most hotels do this free of charge and it feels unnecessary and a bit unwelcoming to parents.

Beautiful sea views and delicious breakfast. The bed was comfy and the room clean. Didn't get to use the spa but great to have that option!

Received a room I did not book. However this was rectified by the receptionist. I upgraded and was satisfied.

Bathroom was good but didn't fit the description of luxury. Parking was extremely difficult - it's a busy hotel with a lot of rooms, and there was a wedding event every day of my stay so parking spaces were at a premium, and the majority of the carpark is unsurfaced.

Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of choices at breakfast especially for a vegetarian, and views while eating breakfast were delightful. The room's inner view was improved with a row of plants.

Main staircase to rooms almost vertical. be warned ! There is a lift but was out of order for part of our stay. Biscuits left as welcome with tea/coffee facilities. As a stated gluten free guest it was a little disappointing I could not have any. Perhaps check the guest requirements when leaving treats and go the extra mile ? just a suggestion.

Very clean room, comfortable bed. Amazing restaurant. Very helpful staff. Great spa for pool and hot tub.

Breakfast - buffet food was cold and generally unpalatable. Had to wait for certain foods to be prepared. Toaster a joke - self service - toaster would either undercook or burn, not easy to adjust. Staff too busy to help! Appalling experience

Great location. I loved the bar area and restaurants, and the pools and sauna were really good, great coastal walks straight from the door.
