Ladies at front counter were amazing. But for $150 a night definitely not worth the price.

Price was a bit high for the motel. It was very dated and could use an upgrade.

The shower was hot and the beds were ok

    Cockroaches and gluetraps

Location is fine and the manager was very suspicious and thought my friend and I were drug addicts as a friend was murdered we were grieving his death and crying and bent over so noone could see our sorrow they stereotyped.us like homeless people. When we left she did a 20 minute inspection I'm.guesding to see if she could detect ashes or tin foild so she could cash in the 200 dollar damage deposit.. something I've heard is done at that hotel many times. The 200 dollar damage deposit is not refunded at a lot of hotels especially if your not well dressed and the hotels can get away with this. That makes the hotels more criminal.like than the people who stay at the hotel. I work with the homeless and help.them when they need a warm something or water or a ride to.hospital or check.to.see if they have life in them when it's very cold. The hotel also has cockroaches and there are glue traps hidden every where. Not recommended but would staying the only room left in Duncan

Hard to find the driveway. Old and not maintained well. No light on top of shelf for coffemaker and microwave. Weird people around. Too much money for this kind of accomodation.

    Close to Hwy.

Basic, but immaculate. They accommodated my request for a fragrance free room. Staff friendly and pleasant. Extra pillows, as requested. Nothing fancy, but a perfectly good place to stay for the night.

The air conditioner was not strong enough to handle the heat-plus it was only in the living room - couldn’t reach the bedrooms at all.

Right on the hwy, lots of facilities close by

So, the facility was CLEAN, but it was definitely aged and in need of repairs and rejuvenating. You can see that an effort was being made to upkeep the rooms; painting touch ups etc, but it definitely is not an ideal choice for a choosey traveller.

Location was decent, unit was clean, pricing was reasonable

It was a very hot day, and there was no air conditioning. There was a fan which did help to cool the room off, but it was still pretty warm.

It was very close to the Aquatic Centre in Duncan, where I was attending a Swim Meet. It was easy to get in and out of, and close to a number of eating establishments. Parking was next to my room, so that was good. Pretty quiet considering the motel is right beside the main highway. The room had a kitchen, which was useful, and an enormous fridge.

Staff was helpful. Great location & for the most past good value for price.

No AC in our room. No night table, no bed light. Just ceiling light which in order to turn off one needs to get up from the bed. Otherwise beds are comfortable. Our unit also had a regular size fridge with a freezer plus electric stove, dishes, cutlery, however no table at which one could eat. Please note, there are some homeless people nearby but they didn’t cause any trouble:))

Breakfast isn’t offered at the Falcon Nest motel.

The booking record provided by the booking agency clearly specified that air conditioning was included in the room which I booked. Had someone from the agency bothered to view the facility, they'd know that very few rooms are equipped with air-con. There were no air-con rooms available when I checked in. The manager graciously offered to track down a portable fan which I used. The manager also confirmed that their office isn't sent a copy of the booking information which was furnished to me, so it was quite a surprise for them to find out that I'd been promised a room with air con.

No air conditioning...room was extremely hot. Room was not checked each day, so no coffee on 2nd day. No USB ports to charge phones. Lights with burnt out lightbulbs, so lack of fundamental lighting.

They only thing I didn't like was where it's located (which really isn't anyone's fault). Just behind the motel is the homeless shelter and the "block" so at night you could hear yelling and fighting but it had nothing to do with the motel itself; other then that it's awesome close to tons of fast food and you get 10%off at Boston pizza if you take your card..

I love Ruth and Glen they run the motel..the pool was awesome always clean! There are long term tenants there and they were awesome it's like a family ..just a really great place to stay. Apparently it used to have a bad wrap but I'm telling it's all good now..

STAFF OVERSOLD ROOMS! I had had a reservation for several weeks. I called midday the day of my arrival to confirm how late I could arrive-- I wanted to arrive maybe 10pm... Very friendly staff (who was the manager it turned out) told me the office was open until 11pm and if she would keep it open a little extra if I wanted. I assured her I would be there before 11pm. I arrived about 10:30pm. There was one customer ahead of me checking in. Then I got a room assigned from a "trainee" with the Manager watching. I got vague directions to the room. I wandered 5 minutes circling the entire building once before parking in a place that originally had been too narrow for my compact car! The 2nd time the next space over- the motorcycle driver kindly moved it over the the side of his space so I had room in the only open space. The room was on the opposite side but since the room numbers could not be read in the dark , I did not know that until another 10 minutes of searching... The room assigned had no A/C and was 85deg inside!! I went back to the office and asked for another room! The only other room available was also a not regularly used room! The main light switch did not work, you could not turn out the overhead lights without unscrewing the bulbs. It gets worse- the bedside lamp and its 120V receptacle did not work either. The window Ac work poorly and sounded like a freight train was coming down the track! It took 4 hours to get that room from 86deg F to something reasonable. I got to bed 1.5hrs after arrival! The room was mostly freshly painted but the floor had large scratches in it. The TV minifridge, & coffee maker worked. The minifridge was old but cold. The next morning, the manager was friendly but claimed they could not give a partial refund since she was not the owner. I said I wanted a much better room for the next two nights or she had not heard the end of it.

OK value if you get a redone room.
