The evening meal wasn't great, I had the Salmon with vegetables and I would say the Salmon was not fresh, definitely frozen and contained a lot of bones which was disappointing as it was £22 for the main course so I did expect a little better.

Check in was good, quick and efficient. The room was fine, nice and clean, reasonable size and comfy bed. The breakfast was good, OK choice and quick.

the only thing that bothered me was other people getting up at 5am and banging around as it woke us up and we struggled to get back to sleep and knew we had a long drive ahead of us.

we were welcomed from the moment we come through the door,all the staff are friendly. the rooms are comfortable and the bed and pillows are great, had breakfast booked but we didn't want it just had a coffee to go but we no the breakfast is good we've had it before

Friday evening sarah was on the front desk and was absolutely amazing with us when asking for advice. Cant say much for the gentleman who was working along side her. If i walked in and he was greeting us for the first i would have been very disappointed. He was unfriendly and really grungy/angry. The two bar staff again outstanding and really friendly. Credit to them both.

The tables in the bar were littered with empty glasses (this was at 6pm) and a blonde lady at the hotel bar was quite rude and basically every time I approached the bar she walked away (maybe didn't like my aftershave) two other ladies at the bar were brilliant and very helpful. We had two drinks and left not least of all as the blonde lady created a very bad atmosphere. Shame as without this we may have stayed longer.

Clean hotel and a good sized room. Breakfast was fast and not crowded (was down for 9.30am) reception staff were very good and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy and in a good standard of up keep.

Checking in was slow as only one receptionist on duty. Breakfast was okay, plenty of choice. Fried eggs and poached eggs left on hot plate which did'nt really keep them warm. Slow to fill up breakfast items from kitchen.

Room compact, bathroom small but it was sufficient for our needs. Shower brilliant. Bed very comfortable. Room had lovely view over river and was very quiet. It is a great location for events at SEC and Hydro. Train station also within walking distance. There is a lovely seating area outside beside river. I'm sure it is great to sit there in the summer. Minnie was excellent in maintaining the dining room, actively cleaning tables and ensuring guests were seated as soon as possible. She had an extremely pleasant manner, nothing was too much trouble. Steven was also very pleasant and helpful.

Stain on carpet in room. Drinks at the bar far too expensive would have spent more time there if this had not been the case as view is excellent of the river.

Location excellent for attending concert at Hydro. Breakfast very tasty and good value for money. Comfortable bed

Slightly taken a back at the prices of food and therefore chose not to eat at the hotel. Aware that parking was close however no cameras visible and parking at owners risk so why charge £10 for 24hrs if at owners risk this doesn't make sense.?

Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Parking was close. Staff were excellent and very polite.
