The pipes were a little noisy when taking a shower but that is a very minor problem in my view.

I loved the property, wish we stayed an extra night, the only small issue we had was Booking.com sent me a pin code as well as the owners, which was a little confusing, the owners one was the correct one. Only a couple of minutes to figure it out though and definitely wouldn't put us off

Grass cuttings in garden got walked throughout property and were difficult to clean up. This is us being very picky as we were very happy with the property overall.

couldn’t open the windows in the bedroom as the were too high up, there was a pile but it didn’t really work, we had to get maintenance to close the blinds also as they were too high which meant they were closed the whole time we were there

As a dog owner I was looking for a place that accepted animals but here they went even further, The place is perfect for stays with your animal friends as each property has a small fenced garden and they even leave a doggie's welcome pack for your arrival. The cottage was is a village setting and the pub and dining restaurant were also very dog friendly. Just a few minutes drive the the beaches at Bamburgh for great coastal walks. Designated parking space. Quiet location. Good pub within 50 yards. Modern decor and great facilities.

The bathroom was big but there was nowhere to put toiletries although there was plenty of space on the wall for shelving/cupboards.

Bed was a little hard and pillows were soft, but that is personal opinion. Few cobwebs around the property and the velux window blinds were very hard to open and shut so the bedroom was very light. Could also maybe think about offering a fan for summer as was very warm.

There was no recycling facility for glass (not directly the hosts issue more the local council) which doesn't help given that most quests will be drinking wine, beer etc.

Great location convenient for the beaches at Bamburgh and surrounding coastline and sights like Holy Island. Really quiet, peaceful rural location. Cottage for the two of us plus our dog had everything we needed. A good cafe and pub/restaurant on the door step if you don't want to self-cater.

The sound of water through neighbouring property - our neighbours were considerate with bathroom times as were we but it could be annoying if folk are inconsiderate

The location of this cottage is great, close to local attractions and the wonderful Northumberland coastline. Place was spotless and had great amenities including a washing machine and dryer.

The cottage was well equipped, nice little garden at the front fenced in which was great for the dog, pub just around the corner for food and drink and the old school house eatery good for breakfast.

Minor points - some scuffing on the walls, TV wouldn't connect to WiFi and you could feel the join in the bed (however, the actual individual beds were lovely and comfortable).

Lovely decor, great location, fairly spacious for a two person cottage. Plenty of crockery/cutlery. The shower was really powerful and got nice and hot. Bedroom and living areas a good size. Reserved car parking space. Really clean inside too.
