Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomBeing refurbed so scaffolding outside window. We asked for a room with a bath which the staff explained would be a much smaller room so our choice, however when it came to having a bath the fixture on the wall was missing so had to try to fill the bath with the shower. We didn't complain at the time to the hotel so maybe they would have rectified that. Needs a bit of TLC in general but as said it is being refurbed.
Staff friendly and helpful . Location. Good price. Changed our room when asked and explained our original room was much nicer.

ItalyI’ve been luck my neighbours weren’t really noisy but if they were, I would’ve hear everything they would say. There is bad soundproofing.. so if you plan on going there just bring some earplugs and you’ll be fine 👌🏼. Unfortunately now there are works in order to renew the building. So you may have workers in front of your window at 8:15/8:30 in the morning from Monday to Friday (no work during weekend), so yeah the earplugs might be useful if you wanna rest more during week mornings. But, if you, like me, love to get out early, you don’t really mind about it.
It’s super close to the centre and main attraction such as hide park, Notting Hill, Paddington station, Oxford street.. You have the tube station right at the corner (central line) and all the busses that brings you to any direction! So well located. My room was quite little (I was alone) but very good organised, the bathroom was little but functional, I appreciated it, the shower was pretty big tho, I liked that! The staff was really kind and nice, and my room has been cleaned every day.

United KingdomThe one thing I didn't like was that there was no rubbish bin outside and being a smoker that was annoying. The cleaner came out to clear up the cigarette ends occasionally but it left a bad impression of the hotel on the outside.

United KingdomRooms are smaller than it looks in the pictures. You get a radiator to plug in for heating the room which ruins the mood. The lift takes ages to come or go. Internet was bad. Outside is alright, inside you get soviet union vibes.
Nice location, quiet and peaceful, clean rooms. Overall good, value for the money, and a bar downstairs, it was alright.
