The room was good and of a good size. I had booked a more generous room, others in our party had tiny rooms. My only feeling was that the room felt musty and a bit damp. Probably because it has been used recently. This did make my stay a little less pleasant as I am sensitive to this.

For the price I paid for the hotel, I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't included. Even some snacks and a bottle of water in the room would've been appreciated.

This hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from Queensway station, with direct trains to central London. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. Despite the building work on the hotel's exterior, I was able to get a decent night's sleep.

The gentleman who welcomed us on reception was a little abrupt and not very helpful but otherwise no complaints.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Very clean room a little cramped but perfectly adequate and bathroom beautiful , fab breakfast. Under renovation so lifts were a bit of a nightmare as only one in use but this cannot be helped under the circumstances. Overall very impressed.

Remodelation is going under way which means you only have one lift operating. Not dramatic, but can make for some waiting.

The location is perfect. The room was very small, but was as clean as possible, bearing in mind it is quite old and humidity is very noticeable. We were lucky and not very nosy people in the next rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We also got an early check-in for a short price.

During our stay, there was some renovation activities and we had workers outside our windows early in the morning, we could't sleep too much. The should change the door of the rooms, you can hear each noise.

Location was really good, in front of Hyde park, 1 minute to queensway metro stop and 20/25 minutes by foot to Oxford street. The room was really small, but for shot stay it is perfect, was clean and all useful stuff.

Waiting 20-30 minutes just for towel swans and rose pedals... it was a really nice gesture, but we were only in town for about 15 hours, minus 5 hours of sleep and the theater tickets we had, we wanted to just park our stuff in the room and then go exploring. The lobby was unbelievably hot. Felt like the heating was broken. The towels weren't very clean.

During our correspondece before arrival I told them that we would celebrate our wedding anniversary there. We arrived during check in hours and still had to wait 20-30 minutes to be allowed to go up to our room. Turns out they decorated our room for the occasion.

There was construction at the hotel so all windows were covered. When we look at the window then just saw rebar. Windows don't open so room had not fresh air too.

The hotel is centrally located in the city. Behind to Hyde park. Also it is near to Quenways tube station. You can walk through hyde park to visit free Museums. You can arrive central station which the bank by the tube. You can walk everywhere from the bank station.

It seems petty but the TV remote didn’t work very well and the choice of stations was poor, none of the 5 main UK stations were available. The milk in the room was off, but I asked for some fresh milk and it was promptly provided

The room had a pungent smell that was not nice throughout the entire stay and the hot water did not work the first day so someone had to come in to fix it.

The building is nice, the area is nice, staff lovely and helpful.
