Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere are currently building works going on and we where woken up to drilling and banging from 9am, which is ok if you’re on a business trip and out working however we were there for a little break, there was no forewarning about this, which would of made us rethink our choice of hotel. Two of the plug sockets were broken in the room.
The hotel was lovely inside, very clean and modern reception area, the hallways to the rooms were slightly dated but still very clean and tidy, our room was modern and clean inside, shower was amazing!

United KingdomVery small bathroom, but shower size was decent. There was work going on at hotel which I would have liked to have been informed of prior to booking, as weekday mornings were quite noisy; however, we were not there to lie in, so it wasn't too much of an issue.

Saudi ArabiaOne of the staff keep knocking the door and asking if the room was already cleaned. The room was already clean but I think it’s better to communicate with the housekeeper and ask her weather she cleaned or not instead of knocking every door!
1-I like the location, it was in the center of london and in front of the hyde park. 2-Most of the staff were cooperative and helpful. 3- I like that the room was warm although the weather was cold outside and a heater was available if needed.

LatviaIn short, the hotel can be rated as normal, because its age and natural wear and tear are visible everywhere, which also prevents it from being rated better than normal. But all the basic needs are provided, but whether they are right in relation to the cost, that is the question!
The location for tourism is good, the area is not noisy and the access to transport is excellent. Breakfast is good, but if you stay more than two days, the uniformity and lack of fresh vegetables is disappointing.

Love the location of the hotel! It’s near hyde park so if you like to have calm walks and it’s near underground station so you can access many sights and places around London easily! Very safe and quiet neighborhood too.
