The breakfast was very tasty and pleasant. Evening quiz in the bar/ restaurant. The boat house is very well positioned with sea views. The room was more than adequate and comfortable.

The place is just really quite tired. Appreciate it's not easy to make massive changes, but a few things that would help. The reception area appears to be a dumping ground for mis-matched old sofas which I wouldn't want to sit on, and can't imagine they are really often used. It just gives an initial impression of a lack of care as you enter the side door. As I walked in the front door on initial arrival, I was struck by the smell of the toilets which are opposite the bar entrance - not a great welcome. Nowhere in the bathroom to hang a towel

Room was decent standard and was clean, bed was comfortable and the view was lovely. Staff were pleasant, responsive and flexible in their approach. Location was perfect for what I needed

Bed v small and uncomfortable. Bathroom sink tap throws water at you and on the floor. Breakfast had no sausages.

food took a while to be served. Entertainment too loud. (our bathroom floor vibrated with the noise) Homeless people staying at the hotel not mentioned on Booking.com. One of which was annoying in the bar and played loud music in his room next to ours

The carpark is quite steeply sloping so difficult to find a motorbike friendly spot to park. The room cost more than I thought it was worth but it was the bank holiday weekend

Handy for the ferry, a comfortable room looking out to the sea. Good location for a quick walk along the breakwater or up the mountain.

Perfect stop over before catching the ferry to Ireland. Really comfy bed. Nice bistro restaurant on site. Easy parking. Nice staff

New management from about a year ago. They are constantly improving the place at present. Very friendly and fun atmosphere. Food is home-cooked pub fare. Great location with a nice view of the causeway. Most evenings have some sort of social event in the bar, everyone happy to have guests join in.

The room was basic, very tiny sink, no where to hang wet towels, limited area to put things on. Room ground floor next to bar with large window right opposite outdoor seating so felt no privacy. Bar has loud music till 1am once a month so we were right next to that. Restaurant food, over priced, and not freshly cooked, felt heated up in microwave. Limited beers in bar. Only allowed in conservatory (which can get cold, or in small bar area with a dog (but limited tables in that area so may have no option but to be in conservatory) Breakfast over priced around £11 but very small/ basic.

Room and bathroom were really clean/basic, shower good, staff pleasant.

Expensive , mattresses poor quality , also when we booked a while back it said breakfast was included however this has apparently since changed , unfortunately I could not find the original details so could not argue it, we actually changed to this hotel because the one we originally booked did not do breakfast , disappointing for the price!!

There was a pub quiz on the night we stayed which we didn’t know about which kept us up. All very fine but no better than fine and was expensive for what it was although accept we stayed in August.
