Bed was really uncomfortable. Window didn't close properly so let in a horrible draft. Didn't get top ups of shampoo (there is a dispenser on the wall but it was really watery, so didnt manage to wash our hair properly) or coffee. Some lights also didn't work and the toilet handle needed to be held for it to flush properly.

Upgraded our room to one with a window. Staff were friendly.

Our room smelt of cigarettes and the windows didn’t open to air it. It wasn’t very clean and the bed wasn’t very well made the sheets kept moving which made it uncomfortable

It was quite run down, bathroom was dirty, burns in the carpets, the exit light above the door was exceptionaly bright throughout the night and the mattress was very thin and you could feel all the springs

Was a reasonable price and a half an hour walk to Princes Street and 15 minuet walk from Haymarket train station. Breakfast was quute good but maybe not quite worth the £14pp if not incl in stay

BREAKFAST WAS LUKE WARM AND WE DIDINT LIKE THE FACT THAT THE BUFFET WAS NOT IN THE DINING ROOM AS I HAVE TREMORS IN MY HANDS AND FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO MOVE FROM THE BREAKFAST STATION TO MY SEAT WITH MY FOOD AS THERE WAS NO TRAYS EITHER. THERE WAS ALSO DIRTY TOWELS ON OUR ROOM FLOOR WHEN WE ENTERED. IT WAS REPORTED TO STAFF BUT WAS NOT MOVED BY THE TIME WE CHECKED OUT THE FOLLOWING DAY

The check in was very long , couldn’t check in till 4 then there was a long que , didn’t get finished until 5 for my check in was meeting someone at 5.30pm at other side of the city

The room without a window was extremely basic and poor, which meant we paid £10 per night to upgrade. No option for late check out and room wasnt serviced during our stay, extra teas and clean cups woulve bene nice. at night there was a lot of noise from outside

I didnt like how poor the Internet connection was from my room. I was working from my room and the connection kept cutting out which wasnt great and the bathroom and bath tub was hideous

The room was dark and without windows. Front desk staff was not professional. There was one girl who was rude and the others as well. I have stayed 3 days but nobody bothered to clean my room or changing the bedsheets or coffee and milk which was given in the room.There was no telephone inside my room to contact the reception area. The television did not work.The staffs were acting weird as if their doing favours on guests. In a summary I did not like it at all. There was No service for guests.

The towel rail had been removed from the bathroom wall; there was no soap in the dispenser in the shower; the bathroom sink was blocked/very slow draining. These are easy fixes, and I'm surprised that they were not sorted out before guests arrived.

Ideal location, for my purposes. Room was reasonably quiet and pleasantly warm.

Don't understand why 4pm check in. Bar should've been open for guests to use why waiting to check in , this would've been beneficial for the hotel.

The mattress needs replacing, staff make a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning, the bathroom is quite small so got to be extra careful about not injuring oneself and no free WiFi.

They didn't change our linens, towels. The towels smell bad!!! The wifi is not free, It costs 7£ per day per person.

The blurred window thing on the ceiling, the bath grime, the bath frame collapsed, the dirt and mould on the shower curtain, the bed frame collapsed, the dirty coffee cups and the extremely loud strange noises in the night and the lift buttons being smashed

The room was NOT like I was shown on a picture. There was not even a table but a chair next to my bed. I booked 2 single beds got a bed pushed together with one duvet - for what should have been 2 singles. Bathroom was nothing like in pictures. The green light above the door- which can't be turned off, kept me awake all night!!! The walls are probably made of cardboard and heard a nice couple in the night time getting it on. I was put in a room what seemed like a dungeon - no Internet- unless you want to pay for it - but hey, its not 1923!!! But okay, was gonna use my own on my phone BUT bc of the location of the cupboard, I meant the room, I could not even access that. So yeah, great experience for 120£ a night room!!!

Cleanliness of the room, kind of poor quality of the room/building/, there were not many room facilities, such as safe box, shower gel and shampoo. But it was okay after all, as we were only just sleeping and taking a shower. It was overall a good hotel choice for these busy calendar days, and the cheapest we could find.

Very friendly staff. Easy check in/out procedure. Very good location of the hotel. We were walking to the city center. Dean Village is very close to the hotel as well, we went there walking.
