Very quiet and peaceful location. Loved sitting on the spacious verandar ans watching the river go by. The centre of Bath is an easy 15 minute walk. We had a lovely meal at the Bathwick Boatman next door.

Nothing really. Bit of a noisy extractor fan from the restaurant close to the property but I suppose can’t expect silence in a city.

Charming and beautiful location. Very pleasant walk into town and the option to have a lift to town in the morning on a boat was a nice bonus. The covered balcony was peaceful and a really nice place to sit after a busy day in the town. Very clean and well decorated. Hosts were around but not intrusive at all. I would definitely book again.

There was nothing not to like

It has a very laid back and private feel. The patio with view of the river is charming. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable sofa and bed. I can’t think of anything that wasn’t thought of. I especially enjoyed my morning visit from the Lercher.

Beautiful cottage overlooking the river, had everything you needed. Very clean throughout, comfy bed. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The dog Meme knocks on the door to say hello along with her friend Nellie, both very friendly dogs. This has to be one of the very few places I would definitely return to. Taking a boat out on the river was absolutely amazing. A short stroll into the town and everything is on your doorstep. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend 👌.

Beautiful, well.presented accommodation that had all the little extras - hit chocolate and cookies. Practical things like waking up detergent and tea towel. Extremely comfortable and a decent sized room. Loved the little outdoor undercover area....and Meme, the dog, who insisted regularly.

The heat from radiators was variable, not working at all at times, and the alternative portable electric heater provided was inadequate for the cool weather.

Secluded and quiet. Separate living/kitchen areas from bedroom. The adjacent restaurant was excellent.

WiFi struggled at times was a bit hit and miss.

Its position was peaceful and scenic. Lovely accommodation- just right for a couple. Great location for walking into centre. Only sorry wrong time of year to get river boat.

The Wi-Fi was a little slow? But then it was all over Bath, so this didn’t really matter to us.

The idyllic setting beside the river was such a delight (and - I can imagine in the summer - absolutely perfect for sitting out and watching the world go by). The size was perfect for us, the bathroom was lovely and the whole thing was newly decorated (you could still smell the fresh paint). It was immaculately clean, tea and coffee making facilities were provided and there was a fridge should you require it (as well as a toaster and microwave). There was a smart TV in the room too, meaning we could watch a little Netflix if we so chose. Its close proximity to the city centre meant we didn’t use the car at all while we were there and simply walked everywhere we wanted to go. There were some friendly pets roaming around (we met a dog and a cat) and the guest information booklet recommended a delightful local pub where we had a lovely meal. All in all, a fabulous weekend.
