Lovely staff and a very clean hotel

The waiter took used milk from another table to serve us. We just took it and never raised any concern. But, think it was not nice to do that.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty clean. Breakfast was worth it.

There was no socket near bed so could not charge your phone during night, which it seems strange nowadays. Service for breakfast and dinner is a bit slow. You could wait longer than expected.

Room was big and clean enough. Restaurant and breakfast were nice.

Location, 10 minutes from city center. Restaurant. Good selection of food , reasonably priced. Fantastic breakfast served to your table. Rooms a bit dated but spotlessly clean. Various activities in bar, quiz nights etc.

Breakfast staff were a bit off the ball... Got breakfast order incorrect, came out with pancakes when the order was poached eggs.. waitress even said poached eggs when putting plate on table but it was pancakes & had to ask twice for toast but never received any toast at all .

Noise, I could hear lots of activity outside and in the corridor late at night. I was also kept awake from the snoring of the person in the room next to us, on the far side of where the beds were, so walls aren't great sound wise.

The receptionist was so welcoming and friendly. Our room was a good size and was clean and comfortable..... Fantastic pillows 🙂

The bathroom was in need of refurbishment, staining in floor behind toilet etc. We could hear the TV from the room next door.

Noisy guests in rooms until after 2am! (Not the hotels fault) but maybe make rooms more sound proof? No lifts 😞 Need sockets beside bed

The room we had first. It had an adjoining door to a twin room. We could hear everything the other couple said. However we were accommodated excellently by reception.

Medical trip. Everything was lovely, on site parking. Welcomed my name. Very nice bar staff & dart semi finals on. Nice vibe. Lovely breakfast next morning. Fast delivery, friendly waitresses. All very positive. Room lovely and quiet with tea making facilities & nice rain shower.

This was a last-minute booking so we cannot complain too much, but our room was just above where a Christmas party was taking place, so the noise was extremely loud and we had great difficulty getting to sleep. The other thing is the poor internet connection, which always seems to be a problem at the Balmoral.

We have stayed at the Balmoral many times. The room was, as always, very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Could hear other residents shouting up and down the hallways. Could hear TV from the next room. Doors banged all night. Didn't get a good sleep.

Food was outstanding. Staff were helpful if needed. Hotel itself is nice. Room was very spacious.

Some noise throughout the early morning. Not sure where the people were but it seemed they were right outside the window. They finally went to bed about 8am.

We could hear people talking clearly in the hallway aswell as next door neighbours pulling their curtains. Most hotels have king size beds, I forgot how small a double is for 2 people. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work therefore had to keep window open in bedroom to help with steam. In saying all of this, I would recommend the hotel & it wouldn’t put me off returning. The hotel bar & restaurant's are clean, modern & friendly. All staff pleasant & the cost of our stay was extremely reasonable.

Staff at breakfast were very welcoming. Food selection was fantastic, could not fault it at all. The bedroom was lovely & warm also equipped with a portable fan if you got too warm. The bedroom window was able to be opened (has a safety catch too). The hairdryer was modern & in good working order. Plenty of great storage space within the room is always a bonus. We got a taxi into the centre of Belfast £15 each way, a little expensive for a 10 min journey but maybe that’s just the prices these days.

If I had to use the shower in the ground floor room, there would not be a seat for the shower despite the bathroom being big enough to facilitate such a thing. With two wheelchairs you could just about get around the room

Loved the interior of the venue & the room was clean. Staff were lovely and helpful in rephrasing sentences (from a deaf person perspective)
