You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomSome confusion over payment, I paid when booking as non refundable through website and they said it hadn't been made. When looked at my banking app found been charged twice but in all fairness they refunded the duplicate payment straight away.
Staff very helpful at difficult time attending a funeral. Stored our bags whilst attending. Beds really comfortable would definitely stay here again.

United States of AmericaFar from town but the bus is near the hotel. Actually, I drove to town and paid 7 pound for all day parking in downtown. The beds were soft. Far from walking to restaurant but you can eat at the hotel.

IrelandAt the reception one girl was not friendly, second one was very nice. Everything what we ask was no. We tried book a room for another day she said there are no rooms available. When we went to the room we booked room online on that day. On the second stay breakfast staff could be nicer. I was not notified that i am not gone get full breakfast.
Breakfast nice I was not notified that there will be no pudding, breakfast staff could be nicer. Lovely bar, easy access. Staff in bar lovely, we got nice drinks. On the first stay we could not have breakfast and we got sandwich takeaway.

IrelandSome parts of the hotel, such as bathrooms or hallways need renovating. Rooms with connecting doors have very thin walls. Thankfully, the lovely receptiomist Fiona was able to move us to a different room where we had a great, undisturbed sleep :-)
The staff at Balmoral are amazing., so very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast is very good.
