The staff were exceptional. Everyone we met was well trained, suported and had real pride in their work.A family business which is as far removed from a chain hotel as it is possible to be. A luxurious room with a huge bed Glorious food.

Room was on the cold side,radiator not hot just luke warm. Made the stay a little poor given the star rating of the hotel.

The only thing was my cooked breakfast was a little cold for me but a part from that, the place is beautiful, I would definitely recommend to stay hear.

Had a lovely feel to the place very relaxing, the bar team were lovely had some lovely cocktails. It was for my partners, birthday thank you for the bottle of bubbly left for us as we arrived, our room was lovely, the food was lovely, really enjoyed our stay hear will definitely stay hear again thank you so much.

Only odd thing was that the kettle was a table with all the coffee and tea making ingredients but there was no plug socket for the kettle. We had to move it and plug it in elsewhere in th room.

The bathroom wasn't as clean as I'd like hence the point down for cleanliness, but the rest of the room was lovely and clean.

The room was lovely, warm and cosy. The staff was great, informative and attentive. The food was fabulous and tasty.

That our room smelt of disinfectant a bit like a hospital. Nicer room smells please.

Our room was very comfortable and was larger than expected , with a full size bath, tea and coffee making facilities , toiletries, hair drier and iron. The decor was calming and tasteful. The staff aare always exceptionally polite and courteous. our delicious cooked breakfast was served very promptly. The orange juice was very fresh.

Beef fillet steak in the restaurant. At £32 you don't get a whole fillet steak. I was given just two thin slices which was totally unacceptable so I sent it back and had a burger instead which was lovely. Other food and breakfast was fantastic.

The architecture of the building inside and out was beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional. I travelled solo with my dog. In the room were 2 dog bowls, blanket and a treat box with tennis ball , treats - such a lovely touch to a fabulous nights stay - my I add the room was huge with 2 separate bathrooms. I would highly recommend.

There were far too many cushions on the bed and nowhere to put them at bed time, except the floor!

The food was excellent and the room was stylish and comfortable. In general the staff were extremely helpful.

I would have preferred a regular room - ours had aids and adaption in the bathroom which we didn’t need . So it felt less luxurious.

We had a lovely 2 night stay - the garden room was spacious and comfortable- plenty of refreshments in the room . Staff were really helpful and as we had to leave early it was so nice to take breakfast with us .
