“We liked the history of The Bear and character of the main building. Also its location in Woodstock. We booked last minute and had our dog with us so booked a standard room off the courtyard and car parking. The room was comfortable with 2 armchairs and kettle and coffee machine. From the outside it looked tired but the room was quite comfortable and looked as if it had been painted in recent times. It was adequate for our needs with a dog.”
