“This was a very late booking as our route had changed. We did not expect much for £66, but arrived to find a spacious, fairly basic but clean and comfortable room (think Travel Lodge). Drinks in the bar were surprisingly cheap, supper had very limited options but was affordable and tasty. Continental breakfast was utterly amazing for 6.95, fruit, yoghurts, cold cheese and meat, cereal, muesli etc. Over and above anything, the staff were just lovely. It was fascinating to watch the racehorses being loaded.”
