“Located at the heart of Penrith close to Tim Hortons (2mins drive) - excellent for Halal chicken burgers open until midnight! Also has Aldi, Sainsbury’s and plenty of other shops nearby.
The Annex is fit for purpose. Although not particularly spacious, it has all the facilities one can need eg decent kitchenette including toaster, kettle, powerful hob, digital oven and well stocked pots and pans.
The hot tub was the highlight of our stay - particularly after long days of hiking, it was a dream to come back to. Clean, powerful jets and beautiful lighting all of which created a lovely ambience. This was topped with a luscious garden by the lake, swings and garden furniture perfect for morning breakfast or an afternoon tea as the river flows by.
