“This is one of the best places we have stayed in.
It was clean, well equipped to an exceptional standard , peaceful, and they have just about thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Linda the Host is extremely helpful and friendly and also provides her guests with an out door seating area and BBQ. The cottage is all on one level making it very accessible.
It was so lovely to returned to after a days cycling and the local Pub too was just a walk away and served great food with a good atmosphere. We will certainly be returning.”

“I worked in customer service for many years and am often disappointed by the service I receive. But honestly, I was blown away by the service I received at the Wyvill Arms. In particular I would like to mention Ned, who displayed some of the best customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. He was just incredible, warm and friendly and going above and beyond to make me comfortable and happy, you could tell it really mattered to him that customers were well looked after. My pre-booked taxi to the event didn't turn up in the morning and Ned drove me to the event! All of the staff were lovely and the room was a higher standard than I had expected and very comfortable. Breakfast was included and I think for the quality of service and accomodation it was very good value.”
