“Both of us had a mega breakfast which was £12 each, it comes with a piece of toast and tea or coffee, we also had a 'small' glass of orange £1.50 per glass (thought it was expensive for what you got) the breakfast was lovely.
Your room is serviced upon request, we requested this as we knew we had some long days ahead and didn't want to come back and have to make the bed, ask for more tea, milk and sugar etc, glad we had our room serviced whilst there.
The key you get on arrival will let you into your room and also into the front door of the Travelrest, the front door is locked at 11pm and you can let yourself in, which we did each night we were there.
The first 2 nights we were there we had 2 bath sheets and 2 hand towels but the last 2 nights we only got 1 bath sheet and 1 hand towel for 2 of us, as we got back late there was nobody on the desk to request another so we made do.”
“Stayed in a junior suite (room 208), costing £335 for a Thursday and Friday night in June 2023. Photo of room online was representative of the room that we were offered. Plenty of parking available on site. Note that the Solent Lodges are next door (may suit other's budgets and preferences). We did not use the spa, but it looked comfortable/clean. We did not eat there (local fast food options within easy walking distance). Fresh mild dispensers in the hall were a nice touch ... no UHT milk to be seen! Staff polite and certainly seemed on hand at all times.”
