“Cozy, historical pub hotel in the village of Chagford opposite the town church. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lots of space in the bar with a fireplace and old features. Open and modern dining area for breakfast in the morning (included) and lunch/dinner options (not included). Breakfast buffet with cereals, juices, coffee and a delicious hot breakfast cooked to order included. My eggs were poached to perfection! The rooms were cute, older style furniture in keeping with the theme and with lots of storage space. Very comfortable bed, fresh clean sheets. No noise from the downstairs bar at all. Coffee and tea facilities. Hairdryer in room. Big bathroom with shower unit. Lovely big fluffy towels, heated towel rail.”
