“The location was very handy to the Coast to Coast route. Due to the wet weather and being absolutely soaked through, I called in and luckily managed to book a night at The Swan. The staff, room and food were great. They were so accommodating. Staying there enabled me to dry my things, rest and recuperate for the remainder of my walk.”

“there was numerous flies in the room over the space of checking in at 4.30 to checkout 9.30am the next morning approx 20 flies were killed and this didnt allow for a comfortable sleep. i dont know where they were coming from but wasnt nice. there was marks all over the walls room 38 and it could be cleaned or fresh lick of paint. there needs to be more milk in the room.”
