  • The Menai Hotel and Bar Review score: 6.4

“I liked the good atmosphere in the Menai Hotel. I travelled alone due to my husbands work commitments, even though travelling alone was slightly daunting I was welcomed by the staff and put at ease on arrival. All the Hotel, Bar and Housekeeping staff where friendly and helpful and a credit to the Hotel. The Hotel is close to all amenities Restaurants/Take aways/Supermarkets and also offers food. I enjoyed my morning breakfast which set me up for the day. The Hotel was easy walking distance to The Menai Bridge and the old Victorian Garth Pier which I enjoyed visiting and I fought a fear by both crossing the Bridge and walking the Pier, so Proud of myself. I even ventured to the Hotel Bar for Kareoke night on Friday that was very busy and I had lots of fun. Overall I had an amazing couple of days recharging my batteries.”

  • Ceris Lodge Review score: 9

“Location is brilliant. Great views of the Menai Bridge. You can enjoy Anglesey and Bangor with Menai bridge to cross over on your door step. The hosts have really thought very well about the decor and equipment in the property. The kitchen is fully equipped which I loved. The decking terrace area is nice whilst giving brilliant views. Nice wild garden to explore if you are in to your nature. Nice touch with a free bottle of Prosecco too. Overall very tidy.”
