“I stayed for 2 nights in a single room. The room was spotless, nicely decorated and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The real winner here though is the service. I received a very warm welcome and the service from everyone was extremely good throughout my stay. They even helped arrange a lift to Lyme from an incredibly kind local as the bus service on Sunday is patchy at best. This meant I got to spend my last morning beachcoming instead of hanging around waiting for my train.
The pub is well known and frequented by locals but I didn't feel our of place as an out of towner. They are welcoming to all and I ended up eating there both nights, partly for convenience but the food was great. I can recommend the bacon sandwich for breakfast which was delicious.”
