The room was clean and tidy but lacked the amazing charm of the outside of the building. The room was more like you would find in a budget airport hotel.

I am touring France by bicycle and the helpful staff stored my bike in a secure room.

Room very small and couldn't fit luggage in so packed a small bag from car (Llucky we had car). Entrance steps very steep so not suitable for those with mobility problems.

The old villa charm also carries forward into the interior and in general everything was old/dated on the inside. The room and bed were tiny and closet space was even tinier but worked for us since we were not at the hotel all day. Parking was challenging, the hotel does not have enough parking spaces for all hotel guests. Street parking in the neighborhood was permitted but parking was scarce. We were lucky enough to find a parking spot every day in the hotel parking lot, but it's a hit and miss.

We enjoyed the historic charm of the building typical to the area. The neighborhood had many villas with similar charm and made it enjoyable to walk to the beach promenade which was a short 5-10min walk from the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. Even so we did not need the air conditioning during our stay, but I can see that being a plus if it does get hot. I particularly enjoyed the pool for my morning laps. We did not eat the breakfast, it looked good with fresh croissants etc. Overall, the hotel was quiet, I was concerned with the old building that it would be noisy but at least during our stay it was surprisingly quiet.

Vending machine was not working. But the receptionist helped to get the drinks manually.

Given later time for breakfast paid 12 euros a head but there was no bread Croissants just yoghurt left !!!!

Breakfast wasn’t great. Often there was no orange juice and hard boiled eggs and occasionally very little ham. The beds were a bit on the small side and the air con was rather weak.

The rooms are small, there is no fridge or minibar and no coffee making facilities in the room. Decor in the bedroom is ok but the bathroom is very dated. Breakfast has good croissants and pain au chocolate but otherwise it's just about ok.

The location is good for the restaurants and beach. The pool is lovely and the room had a clean comfortable bed, air conditioning and a good shower.

There were three adults in the room, which was fine for a few days but would be a little cramped for a week. This was the size of room which we had reserved. No doubt roomier accommodation is available, if required.

Quaint, old fashioned style hotel within walking distance of train station, centre of town, and beach. Very pleasant atmosphere with pleasant staff. Good breakfast.

We had a twin room and found it a bit on the small side for two persons, only one chair, very small cupboard, the two beds filled the room practically completely
