My only reserve is that the rooms are very outdated and for a spa hotel I did expect a newer and more designed room and bathroom.

We stayed only one night on our way to Dordogne. The area is beautiful and the hotel looks like a little village. Very warm welcome by the owner. As it was the last week before the hotel closed for the winter we were upgraded to a second floor with a small terrace. The rooms are large and comfortable. We ate diner at the hotel restaurant which was excellent. All in all a very good experience

The inhospitable greeting. Too rigid in “rules” and poor availability of services. Security - couldn’t open or close securely the room door which was infuriating (aluminium doors which are clearly defective).

I could have got there earlier and I could have boked for an extra night ! But apparently these things make me a bad father as it would have meant being a day late to collect my daughter from her "colony de vacance" further south.

Arrived after a long drive and quite late... Owner was there to welcome us and waved us into the car park and then into reception. He booked us a table at the hotel restaurant and then we were able to relax and take a shower after an 10h drive. The room had air conditioning and was set aside from the main accommodation block, it was very quiet. The restaurant was good quality and a sensible price and we were offered a locally sourced menu and wines. In the morning I booked a massage for my wife and I relaxed by the pool reading for a little in absolute tranquility. Sky was blue, sun was shining - I hid in the shadow of the tree's and listened to the sound of the wind.

Internet is a bit slow in the evenings.

A lovely friendly mini resort in a quiet setting surrounded by nature with a great on site restaurant, a lovely pool and amazing views. We loved walking in the surrounding landscape with its striking 'dolomite' rock features. The manager and staff were all amazing and helpful (and he has the most beautiful dog!)

For environmental purposes the guests should have the option to not have the towels changed every day, e.g we could leave in the shower the towels we wish to replace instead of having new ones every day. The price should include breakfast already.

The pool and the environment was very nice. Very, very good towels. The room wasn't very big but it had a big confy bed. Easy to park. The online welcome package is a very good idea because we can prepare what to do there and nearby.

there is no lobby area to wait and read a book or plug your phone into charge before departure but we do understand that the new Covid reality is dictating terms, the area inside the restaurant would be perfect to accommodate that but it is locked after breakfast, perhaps when the whole Covid restrictions thing is relaxed then maybe they could look into that

great evening restaurant top food ...nice pool, the environment and scenery were absolutely stunning a real haven. the walk to the village very pleasant and the hotel area, chalet rooms et was well spaced out, we were on a road trip to do with work so our stay was interrupted by work otherwise we would have stayed longer to explore the surroundings

The room was a bit tired. Not sure whether the spots on the walls in the bathroom were signs of mold, but it did not look fresh. Also, there was very little light in the room ..... don't count on reading in bed.

The surroundings were beautiful, we enjoyed the pool area, the host was very nice and the restaurant was excellent.

Fantastic location, excellent services, wonderful atmosphere. The rooms are excellent. Breakfast and the dining room are pleasant with a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Ample opportunities to travel around the hotel. Whether it is the geological, architectural, historical, or just visiting a lake or vineyard, this hotel provides ample opportunities to enjoy South France. Highly recommended. The manager is so pleasant and made our stay extra special.

the owner is very difficult, tried to heavily over charge for breakfast and advertised pets were allowed but refused us and changed the booking.com listing between the time we booked and arrived. he allows he massive dog to roam the property and bother guests along with cats everywhere but he would not allow us to keep our two small dogs. very difficult person to deal with. the bathrooms smelled and were very dirty and the shower floor in one of our rooms was cracked. the property is in a lot of need of repair not worth the cost.

Breakfast is a little pricey but the room price is reasonable to make up for it. Overall, brilliant.

The Auberge is the perfect getaway to unwind. This was our third visit and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms are clean, very comfortable and well-maintained and the balcony/terrace make the most of the manicured hotel grounds and stunning scenery beyond. The online welcome guide was very helpful as were the communications from the attentive and friendly manager. We didn’t eat at the on-site restaurant but it looks good (not so much for vegetarians). The terrace is a tranquil place for an evening drink though. Mourèze is a gorgeous village and the Hérault region has loads to explore. Miss it already!
