I went to stay at the Palacio Blanco with three friends for work. It is honestly the most peaceful tranquil hotel I have ever stayed at. Maria and the staff are fantastic. The rooms are lovely and clean. Valez Malaga is a lovely village and only ten minutes away from Torres del Mar a lovely town. If you want a relaxing few days in a hotel with a fantastic courtyard and plunge pool upstairs this small exclusive boutique hotel is simply perfect. Thanks Maria Scott x

Very welcoming host Maria. We were the only guests as it was out of season but she still made every effort to ensure our comfort. Lovely roof terrace to relax on after our day of cycling.

There was nothing bad.

I liked everything. The architecture of the hotel, the interior, the furniture, the attitude of the personnel and the manager Maria Torres. She is an amazing woman and made me feel like home.

We would have preferred a room at the back as traffic is loud on the cobbles, and not effective double-glazing. Internet was sporadic for iPad.

We did not have breakfast as had not realised it was not included. The beds were comfy. Maria very helpful. The sun terrace nice……the pool refreshing.

Unfortunately our room was in the ground floor and there was some noise as you could hear conversations of the people walking in the street right outside the window (very few people though, as it is a quiet street).

The whole building is charming, it looks like a little Parador. The pool on the roof is simply fantastic, it's very very small but we loved refreshing there while looking at the wonderful view of Vélez.

Nothing to not like, I couldn't fault Maria on anything.

Relaxing overnight stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Beautiful rooms, great style and very clean, all overlooking a central courtyard. Facilities were great, loved the plunge pool on the roof and the "honesty bar" was very well appreciated. Its nice to feel trusted. Maria is a great host and looking forward to a longer stay in the future. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a chilled experience.

No Wi-Fi in the rooms but an excellent connection in the courtyard area.

The hotel was spotless, the rooms and building well maintained. Ideal for the purpose of our visit. The rooftop pool is small but perfect for cooling off in the sun. The honesty bar is very well stocked.

It was so beautiful hotel, so nice and comfortable room, swimming pool on the roof is so excellent for the rest! The hostess of the hotel was very friendly, provided us with a parking place, the opportunity to relax and feel Spain, as the hotel appears as an art object of a greater Spanish house. We will definitely come back here, it's an amazing place, I recommend it!!!

Great location in the center of an old town. Beautifully designed charming boutique hotel. Most importantly, excellent service! Maria - the hotel manager is the most caring and helpful person you can ever imagine. Cecilia kept our room in perfect and clean condition. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Everything was perfect.

A complete gem of a hotel. Tastefully designed and decorated in keeping with the Spanish style. Beautifully appointed rooms with spacious relaxing area and very comfortable beds. We were welcomed by the wonderful Maria who called us in advance to arrange parking and kindly offered to book a restaurant on our behalf. The pool area on the roof and terraces were so welcome, as was the honesty bar which had everything g from cavas to beers and soft drinks. A very special place and we will most certainly be back.

it’s a really traditional property in the old town, which has been tastefully renovated with a small number of rooms so you get a really personal service. Maria who was our host was delightful, very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was in the center of the old town and suited our requirements. Breakfast was more than adequate but wished it was buffet style rather than table service as my wife eats only a protein breakfast
