We were told we had exclusive use of spa for one hour but after 5 minutes we were joined by another couple without any explanation.

The location of the hotel was a bit outside the small town of Avinyonet, Spain in the Girona region. The hotel was surrounded by fields of red poppies and mustard. The hotel is an old farmstead and has character and charm. The meals were amazing.

Excellent location in the middle of the countryside. Getting there in the dark is somewhat of a challenge. It is near enough to Figueres to visit this nice town and the Dali museum (Book a slot in advance!), The Mas is very nice. nice and quiet. The restaurant serves a nice meal. People are friendly. The room we had was good in size, but not one of the larger ones. The big bed was fantastic.

beautiful old ‘MAs’ farmhouse which had been cleverly and beautifully turned into a boutique hotel. stunning original features and lovely modern touches. it is eco hotel and uses Lucas produce / jams /olive oil etc some of the best food I’ve ever had in Spain - top quality , imaginative, modern Spanish food at lunch and dinner. utterly delicious - the chefs are definitely top notch. all the staff are charming and friendly and helpful and give everyone a very warm welcome.

Beautiful property in the countryside with easy access to nearby Figueres. Food was amazing, staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were comfortable with all modern conveniences. The spa facilities were available at all times and you could walk around the property seeing the home grown vegetables, almonds, olives, figs etc. which were used n cooking the excellent meals. If you want a relaxing place away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is the place to stay! Highly recommended.

The spa was amazing but just missing a steam room.

The spa was amazing and the masseuse was excellent. The food was prossible the best food I've had in Spain in the 10 years. The room was luxurious and the surroundings we tranquil and beautiful.

Only a minor issue - I don't see why it is necessary to play background music in the restaurant but at least is was quiet!

The hotel is beautiful and the staff helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable with good facilities. The location is quiet yet within a few miles of the motorway. The evening meal was one of the best I have had - truly delicious and good value for money. The breakfast (included in the room rate) was very good too.

The bucolic location in the middle of farming country outside Figueres is lovely. You just have to know that there are real farms around with agricultural activities.
