It’s our 3rd time staying here! We love it! Location is perfect 200meters from centre of town. Our 2 mini schnauzers were welcome. Lovely shaded outside patio.

It lists having a restaurant, but it seems that is only for the weddings that they have there practically every weekend. The 2nd floor room was of good size, but daylight only came through two small roof windows at 1.7m above the ground (short people would not be able to see our)

Within its historical walled garden, we found a hotel with ambience and style. Staff were very friendly and helpful; we got a double room as requested, and they managed to find a safe space to put our bicycles for the night. Breakfast was quite elaborate compared to some other hotels in Spain.

Staying at Los Guardeses was an extraordinary experience. It is located in Solares, in a reformed, former marquess house. Although it is surrounded by modern buildings, the garden with abundant plants maintains it's unique atmosphere. The staff was helpful and friendly, and shared the history of Los Guardeses. The room was very clean and had all equipment from the description. I was happy to find a good quality hairdryer. The beds were comfortable with two, long pillows for each person. Breakfast was tasteful with variety of products. To sum up, I strongly recommend this place.

An airco or fan in the room would have been nice, since it was a bit of a warm room.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast is included in the rate and was very nice and lot's of choice. Having breakfast in tghe gorgeous garden is just great!

The lamps in the room could have had a warmer light, instead they had this really nasty white neon like light which did not look comfortable. The breakfast was okay, however a few more options for bread garnishes would have been nice, just ham and cheese was a little few in my opinion.

The terrace and the yard were super nice to sit in and have breakfast or just relax during the day.

Night time dog barking was the worst that I have ever experienced. How the locals don’t call the police about it is beyond me.

We loved everything, especially pet friendly in a private area.

Well we were shocked this was not a 5 star. We stayed 1 night before our sailing to Uk. We wished it coud be longer. The beautiful 18th century building & courtyard were stunning. Clean room, comfy bed/pillows & even toiletries supplied. A delicious continental breakfast included. The welcome and information we received by the male receptionist on arrival was so good. A fantastic 1st impression! I have already recommended it to two other couples on the boat!

Beware that pet friendly means literally dogs and cats are part of your experience.

The staff were brilliant. Very helpful and friendly. Property is beautiful. Very comfortable and beautiful garden. They allowed us to park inside the main 'owners gates' which was very much appreciated as car filled with our belongings, but without we would have been on street. Two disappointments, overlooked by tower blocks of apartments and no restaurant. Breakfast was lovely and service was exceptional. Thank you to Isabel for understanding re car and parking.

We would've like to be able to close the window shutters to make it darker, but despite this we still had a good night's sleep.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble- even though we arrived late at night after a delayed flight. They were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and helping with directions. The hotel was beautiful, the room comfortable and clean. Fantastic attention to detail. The breakfast spread was great.

Staying in Los Guardeses for 9 weeks...a long Job to do. I felt come home every day.This ist not a hotel-it is a place for living! I will never forget this time. Thanks a lot to reception,to housekeeping and to chef. I will be back for holyday! Moreover Solares ist a pretty good town for travelling people. You will find everything what you need.
