Very clean and spacious bathroom. Strong and separate wifi router for each floor. Shared kitchen space and fridge for own cooking.

The next door neighbour has 2 dogs that barked 8:30pm-1:30am which were noisy. This isn’t the fault of the hostal of course, but I dislike dogs keeping me awake so it’s just an FYI for you

Wi-Fi but it’s the same all across the island. 3G works better throughout.

Good priced compared to another we stayed in on Puerto Ayura. Good shower, comfy beds and good if you like to be left alone.

– wifi didn’t really work in the room – there was no window in our room (but we only stayed there for a night so it wasn’t too bad) – booked a room with 2 beds and only got one (again, for one night that wasn’t too bad)

+ Great Location (close to the ferry, pier and close to a street with lots of restaurants) + kitchen to use + cold drinking water for free + nice room with comfortable beds + BEST WATER PRESSURE ON GALAPAGOS! (first shower where you didn’t take hours to wash shampoo out of your hair!) + air conditioning

There is a surcharge if you pay by credit card. This is a general norm at many places in Galapagos but is not mentioned in the booking site. I wish they stated it clearly.

perhaps the price was a little high for the size of the room. Obviously, the Galápagos Islands is an expensive place to visit, and so many hotels can charge high prices. However, we found similar accommodation, in the same area with larger rooms and more facilities for less money.

The host was extremely helpful and friendly.

There was no staff when we arrived. We walked around and saw our name on a post-it on one of the doors of the rooms. There also was a key in the room, so we dropped our stuff in the room, locked the room and went into town. Later that afternoon there was a staff member so I wanted to pay for the room. The machine didn't work so I had to pay cash. She didn't have the right amount of change, so she gave me 50 cents too much and asked me to bring that 50 cents back later that evening.. Haven't seen any staff member since then though. The curtains only covered part of the windows and the room was full with warning signs about extra charges that would be made to your room, for instance if you put your luggage on the bed, threw toilet paper in the toilet etc. Was just for one night since we had an early ferry, but wouldn't stay there again.

Location. Close to the restaurants and ferry. Room was clean and bed was good.

The shared kitchen was nice, and how everything was open to air except our room itself. There was a water dispenser to refill our bottles which felt good to waste less plastic!
