There was one morning where I needed to speak with hotel staff about storing luggage and whatnot but they were not around. Otherwise, the hotel staff were very helpful and communicative!

Beautiful building that feels more like a home than a hotel. The common areas featured plenty of natural light, books, and comfortable chairs to sit and read in. The beds and hot showers were exactly what I needed after a long day of flights. The omelets were delicious and the neighborhood is full of great restaurants. I highly recommend!

There was a bit of misunderstanding on the number of people we booked for (8) vs what was claimed by the receptionist (7), so were asked to pay an extra breakfast, I found the confirmation for 8 later.

The house interior decoration and architecture was amazing. We really enjoyed the breakfast, cooked at spot. All staff were very attentive and helpful, they help organising airport transfers. Also we were allowed some changes in the room type, so my mother could stay in the ground floor to avoid the stairs, thank you.

It is a wonderful small boutique hotel. The area is totally safe and walking around also in the evening was fine. In my room it was completely quiet and in the night there was no sound. Best place to relax in the big city. Many restaurants around and as well bus stops very near.

Nothing to dislike. The area is a little dull apart from its restaurants and bars, as it lacks the buzz, culture and colonial architecture of the old town, but on the flip side felt much safer to walk about at night than the old town or Mariscal areas. Was a Bit of noise late on saturday night from nextdoor sushi bar but nothing that closing the room Window didn’t solve ( this is one of the first places I didnt need ear plugs!).

This is a lovely very friendly small hotel full of charm. One of the best nights sleep I’ve had in Ecuador thanks to a very comfy bed, nice cotton linen that actually fits the bed properly (hard to find in Ecuador or seems), duvets rather than blankets, and a pretty quiet night. Good eating nearby ( including 4 or so vegan places within a few blocks) and good craft beer at Sinners cafe just a block away. Good breakfast included with eggs etc though bit limited for vegan (bread jam fruit coffee tea).

The hotel was beautiful and our room was super comfy and clean. When we arrived, the staff asked us if we had any eating restrictions. Since we are vegans, they were so kind and made sure we had some kind of non dairy milk each morning. The fruit and fresh squeezed juice were great and they even had an omelette station each morning in addition to the other foods..In the evenings, my hubby and I would play chess and when it was chilly, they would light a fire in the fireplace. So cozy. Highly recommend 😀

Beautiful hotel! Nice decor and great vibe. Love the location in La Floresta, so many restaurants and cafes nearby. Breakfast was simple but perfect. I think it’s a great value for the price and would definitely return to stay here again!

A beautiful, welcoming hotel in the heart of the La Floresta neighborhood

Lovely old Colonial hotel with several inviting sitting areas for guests. Tasty breakfast including eggs cooked to order with various optional additions. Excellent location in the heart of the lively La Floresta neighborhood. Many great dining options nearby; for instance, there are at least three Japanese restaurants within a block of the hotel. When our three-day reservation stretched into nine days due to unexpected illness, the hotel management was very helpful and kind.

The beds are hard and parking is a bit of a headache. There's only one spot and every time you come and go you need to have a staff member open the gate and let you out -- which they do happily without issue -- but it's not an easy place to come and go from quickly.

It's an old rustic hotel that looks like you stepped in to the past, but with modern amenities. It felt like stepping back in time in Quito. The room had a nice balcony with a view of green space. The place was quiet.
